Hebrews 4: 12-16; Psalm 19: 8, 9, 10, 15; Mark 2: 13-17

He says
follow me
to the living
God
where truth
lives
nothing
hidden
in weakness
need
or deceit
only love
revealed
in reflection
and thought
a law
of wisdom
that sets
us free
our heart
rejoices
our soul
is refreshed
our eyes
enlightened
in the mercy
and grace
of God

Have you heard Jesus say “follow me”?
What did your heart say?

Hebrews 4: 1-5, 11, Psalm 78: 3-8; Mark 2: 1-12

paralyzed
lowered
by the faith
of friends
into
His Presence
sins
are forgiven
infirmities
healed
we take up
our mat
and walk
home
with
complete trust
and faith
in God’s
compassion
and love
we live
in His rest

Do you have complete faith in God’s power?
Do you rest in God’s love?

Hebrews 3: 7-14; Psalm 95; 6-11; Mark 1: 40-45

today
is the day
we hear
His voice
and harden not
our hearts
to His words
of life
His healing
touch
we encourage
one another
in faithfulness
that deceit
may not
enter
and lead us
astray
no longer
weary
and anxious
we enter
His rest
and feel
His support
and peace

Have you heard His voice today?
Have you entered His rest?

Hebrews 2:14-18; Psalm 105: 1-9; Mark 1:29-39

tested
as we are
in His
humanity
yet
remaining
faithful
to God
He shows
us
the way
mediator
He casts out
demons
cures
our sickness
we lose
our fear
of death
in his eternal
life

Do you experience the compassion of Christ?

Hebrews 2: 5-12; Psalm 8: 2-0; Mark 1: 21-28

unclean
spirit
rebuked
we
are amazed
at His
authority
that
comes from
the love
of God
for His people
willing
to suffer
in this love
for us
until
we see
who
we are
sacred
in our creator
brothers
and sisters
to one another
given
His power
to love

Do you know who you are?
Do you see your life as sacred?

Hebrews 1: 1-6; Psalm 97: 1-2, 6-9; Mt 1: 14-20

rejoice
be glad
the time
of fulfillment
is here
heaven
among us
no longer
separated
by sin
and death
the glory
of God
shines
and seizes
our hearts
called
by this truth
and love
we follow

Do you follow when He calls?
Do you see heaven among us?

Isaiah 42: 1-7; Psalm 29: 1-10; Acts 10: 34-38; Mark 1: 7-11

the skies open
and
a Holy Spirit
descends
on a beloved Son
from a God
well pleased
he comes
to us
who wait
in anticipation
wondering
and waiting
in our hearts
for good news
of peace-
grasping
our hand
with no
partiality
He forms us
opening
our eyes and
setting us free
in the light
of His justice
His love for all
we share in
His good works
blessing
and
healing

Do you accept the grasp of His hand?
Do you accept the blessing of peace?

1John 5: 14-21; Psalm 140: 1-9; John 3: 22-30

sing
be glad
dance
and praise
with thanks
for the living God
of love
who protects
us from evil
and hears
our prayers
immersed
in the Spirit
of His Truth
no longer
of the world
that separates us
with sin
and death
we belong
to life
eternal
and good

Do you have confidence that God hears your prayers?
Do you ask according to His will?

1John 5:5-13; Psalm 147: 12-20; Luke: 5: 12-16

Jesus
withdrawing
to pray
hears the Spirit
testify
in truth
to all
that is of God

incarnate
within him
God’s will
graced
to us
through
love
and
healing

we turn
in prayer
and
worship
to give
thanks
for all
the blessings
given

Do you withdraw with Jesus to pray?
What do you hear?

1John4: 19-5:4; Psalm 72: 1-2, 14-17; Luke 4: 14-22

loved
by God
we are freed
to love
one another
no longer
in bondage
to hatred
and lies
and covetousness
we have all
we need
in this love
in the power
of the Holy Spirit
always
with us
we pray
always
and bless
as we are
blessed
amazed at
His gracious words
we follow

Do you feel loved by God?
Do you love others with this love?
DO you experience the freedom of his commmands?
