Hebrews 10: 1-10; Psalm 40: 2-11; Mark 3: 31-35

no sacrifice
no law
can replace
God’s will
God’s love
of all
written
in flesh
and blood
in hearts
alive
beating
and breathing
a common
Good
in our Humanity
and Divinity
In Christ
brothers
and sisters
mothers
and fathers
we walk humbly
with a song
of joy
on our lips

Do you see love as God’s will for you?
What is love?

2 Timothy 1: 1-8; Psalm 96: 1-10; Mark 3: 22-30

stir
the flames
of faith
given
by
the Holy Spirit
who did not
give
a spirit of
cowardice
but
of power
self control
and love
once seen
cannot be
denied
we sing
of the glory
passed on
through
generations
living
now

What keeps your faith alive?

Jonah 3.1-5, 10; Psalm 25: 4-9; 1 Cor 7.29-31; Mark 1.14-20

Jonah
rises
from the darkness
of a whale belly tomb
no longer hiding
he proclaims a word
come from God
“forty days more
for Ninevah
or you shall be
destroyed…
repent
from evil ways”
hearts hear
and a fast begins
a city is saved
by turning
to the Lord
guide
truth teacher
savior
compassion
kindness
and goodness
are remembered
in a repentant heart
rejoicing
in humility
a life known
is gone
as a redeemed
Christ world
enters
and renews

What message has God asked you to hear?
What message has God asked you to speak?

Hebrew 9: 2-14; Psalm 47: 2-9; Mark 3: 20-21

misunderstood
in His devotion
and His ways
yet he remained
faithful
to God
and
Holy Spirit
the power
of His humanity
He knew
who He was
in body
and blood
and who
He would be
to us
waiting
for
the living God
we rejoice
and sing
and praise
for the Life
we have
been given
in Him

Have you been misunderstood through your life in Him?
Does it matter?

Hebrews 8: 6-13; Psalm 85: 8-14; Mark 3: 13-19

summoned
we are
called
to where
the truth
and kindness
meet
where
justice
and peace
are one
sprung
from the earth
showered
from heaven
placed
in our heart
where
the knowledge
of His love
is completed
we go forth
with good news
for all the earth

How do you respond to His call?

Isaiah 49:15

“Can a woman
forget her child
And have no compassion
on the child of her womb?
Though she may forget,
but I will not forget you.”

Do we ever forget?

Hebrews 7: 1-3, 15-17; Psalm 110: 1-4; Mark 3: 1-6

we come
before you
King of Peace
with
outstretched
hand
knowing
our need
you heal us
and we feel
the power
of Life
holy splendor
falling on us
like the dew
the power
of a life
that cannot
be destroyed
one
in you
without beginning
or end

Do you feel the power of His Life?
Have you outstretched you hand to Him?

Hebrews 6: 10-20; Psalm 111: 1-10; Mark 2: 23-28

you are
the anchor
for our soul
sure
and firm
reaching
beyond
into
the heart
of God
where
we find
all
we need
in love
fed
we work
tirelessly
in this
given
love
which
we return
most graciously
to you
through
another

Is all of your hope in the promises of God?
How do you return the love that has been given?

Hebrews 5:1-10; Psalm 5: 1-10; Mark 2: 18-22

beset
by weakness
we know
our need
and
pray
with
offerings
for guidance
with one
who knows
the will
of God
of love
itself
perfected
in
suffering
we are
given
new life
with Him

Do you know your need?
Do you accept His guidance?

1 Samuel 3.3-10. 19; Psalm 40: 2,4,7-10), 1 Cor 6.13-15, 17-20, John 1.35-42

temple
of the Holy Spirit
we hear
your call
to goodness
and peace
knowing
we are not
our own
but of
each other
your law
written
in our hearts
we delight
in your will
your love
for all
your justice
a new song
upon our lips
we sing
of your joy

How do you answer His call?
Do you experience yourself as a temple of the Holy Spirit?
