Jonah 3:1-10; Psalm 130:1-8; Luke 10:38-42

called
to change
we sit
at the feet
of Truth
and Wisdom
leaving
our anxiety
and worry
to hear
the voice
of Love
answering
our cry
for help
with words
that bring
Hope
new Life
and Peace

Are you willing to change?
Do you dare leave your anxiety and worry?
Do you sit at the feet of Wisdom and Truth?

Jonah 1: 1-11; Jonah 2:3-8; Luke 10: 25-37

called
we run
thinking
we can escape
yet storms
follow us
until
we are cast
over
into a deep
darkness
where we
cry out
to our God
who hears
and rescues us
with Light
to see
a Truth
that proclaims
itself
each moment
as a Love
for all

Where do you try to escape to?

Gen 2:18-24; Ps 128: 1-2,3-6; Heb 2:9-11; Mark 10:2-16

man and woman
made from one
returned
in marriage
we see the
love of God
that works
between
within
the spaces of us
blessing
each other
the recesses of our home
are filled with love
and children
we learn to die
for each other
even as we rejoice
we suffer for
the Truth
we find here
no one can break
what God has joined
in faith to each other
we learn
the faithfulness
of God
in relationship
we see
what God desires

Do you trust the love of God in relationship?
Do you see God’s fidelity in your own faithfulness?
Do you die to your selfishness to love?

Bar 4:5-12, 27-29; Psalm 69:33-37; Luke 10: 17-24

with
all our hearts
we seek
that which
he calls us to
ground
of our being
from where
all goodness
flows

not in our deeds
but in our
faith
comes our joy
in what we see
and what we hear
that reveals
the face of God
as love

What do you see?
What do you hear?

Bar 1:15:22; Psalm 70:1B-9; Matthew 18: 1-5, 10

we leave
our misguided
ways
of destruction
knowing
our need
we seek
the voice
of the One
to guide us
knowing
our time
is now
we live
in the wonder
of God’s gifts
given
returning
to the innocence
of childhood
that with age
and experience
we call
Wisdom

Do you embrace Wisdom?

Neh 8:1-12; Psalm 19:8-11; Luke 10: 1-12

sent out
with nothing
but the love
and peace
of God
whose precepts
are perfect
trustworthy
right
enlightening
and clear
although lambs
among wolves
with no money
no sack
no sandals
we have all
we need
for the harvest
we labor
rejoicing
in the Lord
who is our strength

What do you need for your journey?
What are the things you carry?

Neh 8:1-12; Psalm 19:8-11; Luke 10:1-12

called
by a love
that has
no place
but everywhere
we are freed
from our sorrow
as each moment
we are
where
we are meant
to be
no looking back
always here
never forgetting
the source
of our love
that flows
into now
creating
a kingdom
of love
this
we follow

Were is the kingdom of God?

Rv 12:7-12; Psalm 138:1-5; John 1:47-51

deceit
cast down
we are
saved
by a power
of love
for life
calling out
we are
answered
and live
day by day
in this Presence
that sustains us
ever grateful
that we are not
alone
we rejoice
in His kindness
and truth

Are you sustained by His Presence?

Zec 8:1-8; Psalm 102:16-23; Luke 9:46-50

knowing
our hearts
he calls us back
to our child-like
innocence
and wonder
knowing our need
and that all
is possible
in God
who hears
our cries
for love
and justice
and brings
life and peace
to the nations
as we turn
our minds
and hearts
to Him

Have you been called back to your child-like innocence?

Zec  2:5-9;14-15; Jeremiah 31:10-13; Luke 9:43-45

once
scattered
we now
gather
together
streaming
to God’s
blessings
where God
turns
our mourning
into joy
consoled
and gladdened
after
our sorrows
we are
encircled
by the fire
of God’s love
dwelling among us

Do you turn to God’s blessings?
