Do you let Him heal your wounds?

Do you recognize His justice as love for all?

swirls around us
oppresses us
we feel
God’s absence
in raging wars
deception
and deceit
we long to hear

stir the flame
that is God
in our heart
that strength
and love
and wisdom
may bear
the hardships
of war
and violence
and evil
not stealing
His peace
through the spirit of love
doing the work
that needs
to be done

for the vision
still has its time
pressing on
to fulfillment
we will not
be disappointed-
in patience
we wait
