of the Spirit
that guides
relieving the anxiety
of day to day
by providing
what we need
strength
courage
fortitude
and peace
keeping our minds
and hearts fixed
we will not lose our way

to the Holy Spirit
we are lost
to our sacred purpose

yet a stilled heart

prophets
and friend
piercing the shield
of our anxiety
our ignorance forgiven
we are blessed with
refuge
shelter
and new life
in God

How is Jesus the bread of life for you?

forgiven for denials

feeding
tending
caring
forgiving
even unto death-
our mourning is
changed to dancing
while all creation
praises His love

Do you hear God’s voice in the stranger?
Do you forgive ourselves and turn to love?
Do you praise God at all times?

He guides us to safe harbor
this One
who knows
who we are
lost
and alone
He shows us
a new way
far from the grief
and sorrow
of loss
to a place
of enduring love
that depends on no thing
but God’s love

What is this love that demands so much good?
