Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Zec 9:9-10; Psalm 145:1-14; Romans 8:9-13; Matthew 11:25-30

this place
of Spirit
that dwells within
living
unburdened
it is His gift
to our weariness
finding rest
we let go
of all that our flesh
demands
and enslaves us to
and live
in God’s grace
with a new heart
and mind
compassionate
kind
and merciful

Do you dare become unburdened and live in His Spirit?

Tuesday of the Thirteenth Week in Ordinary Time

Genesis 19:15-29; Psalm 26:2-12; Matthew 8:23-27

living in the fear
of our storms
He awakens in us
to quell our fears
with a calmness
that sweeps over
our life
searching our heart
and soul
nothing is left untouched
brought to light
we lose our self reference
and see all in Him
God and Spirit
our guide
we live
in the spaciousness
of grace and mercy
where all is forgiven
and Heaven
rushes in

Do you allow God’s calming of the storms in your life?

Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

2Kings 4:8-11,14-16; Psalm 89:2-3,16-19; Romans 6:3-11; Matthew 10:37-42

loving God
above all
we find the source
of our Being
from where
all our life
flows
love
joy
peace
generosity
kindness
gentleness
truth prevailing
against all darkness
deception
and delusion
we remain firm
and sing the goodness
of the Lord
our strength
and our shield

How do you live from the source of your Being?
