Sixth Sunday of Easter

Sixth Sunday of Easter
Acts 10.25,26,34,35,44-48; Ps 98:1, 2-4; 1 John 7-10; John 15.9-17

God of all
undivided
spirit
poured out
on an undivided
world
a new song
is sung
of justice
of kindness
of faithfulness
from hearts
so filled
with joy
from knowing a God
who truly
loves us
who loves
ALL
from the beginning
friend of God
chosen
only to love
we lay down
our lives
for this

Do we see God’s love for all as justice?

Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Easter

Acts 14:19-28; Psalm 145:10-13,21; John 14:24-31

undergoing hardship
for our faith
we hear God’s words
of reassurance
“do not let your hearts
be troubled or afraid”
for He is with us always
in Spirit
an Advocate for us
we enter God’s presence
wholeheartedly
and confidently
letting all our works
give thanks

Do you allow the peace of Christ into your heart?

Fifth Sunday of Easter

Acts 9.26-31; 1 John 3.18-24; John 15.1-8)

we grow
into the vine
of God’s love

fed
we bear
the fruits
of God
by loving
one another
in deed
and truth
beyond all
of our sins
beyond all
our divisions
we see
what God
who is greater than
our hearts
can do and forgive

in Him
our souls
find peace

How much can you forgive?
What are the fruits of your love?
