1Cor 10:14-22; Psalm 116:12-18; Luke 6:43-49

we are
as one-
branches
on one vine
bearing
the fruit
from the goodness
 where
we grow
built on
the foundation
of God’s love
that withstands
all torrents
of crisis
and chaos
our roots
are deep
in the ground
of God’s Being

Do your roots grow deep into the soil of God’s love?

1Cor 9:16-19,22-27; Psalm 84:3-12; Luke 6:39-42

becoming
all things
to all
a gospel message
is given
freely
so that each heart
may hear
and act
in accordance
with wholehearted
presence
to the living God
not following
blind guides
but surrendering
to the vision
of the one
who knows
the way
on this pilgrimage
of love

Who are the blind guides in your life?
How do you know who to follow?

Rom 8:28-30; Psalm 13:6; Matthew 1:1-16, 18-23

through
generation
after
generation
all things
work for good
for those
who love God
and follow
God’s way
saying yes
to every
calling
to justice
mercy
forgiveness
and love
putting aside
doubt
and fear
and entering
the light
of His Presence

How does God work for good in your life?

1Cor7:25-31; Psalm 45:11-17; Luke 6:20-26

poor
hungry
weeping
excluded
we turn
our ear
to another
who offers
something
beyond
our means
reaching
into our poverty
we find
blessing
and live
in the paradox
of Christ

Do you find the blessing in your poverty?
What is your poverty?

1Cor 6:1-11; Psalm 149:1-9; Luke 6:12-19

divine light
divine love
shows itself
and heals
call us away
from all deceptions
that lead to sin
and injustice
spirit of God
sings
and dances
within our being
as we praise
and new way
of life
God’s delight
in his people

Do you see God’s delight in His people?

1Cor5:1-8; Psalm 5:5-6,7-12; Luke 6: 6-11

extending
our withered hand
we are healed
beyond
our imaginings
by One
whose Presence
transforms
all malice
and evil
by a power
of love
in this
we take refuge
and accept
the joy
of our Being

Do you extend yourself for God’s healing love?

Wisdom 9:13-18; Psalm 90: 3-6; 12-17′ Phil 9-10, 12-17; Luke 14: 25-33

struck by
God’s wisdom
and love
we relinquish
all
we would
possess
that means
nothing
without God’s Truth
and love
arising
at dawn
anew
daybreak fills us
with His kindness
our burdens
are lifted
we shout
for joy
and gladness
all the days of our life

Is your mind weighed down with earthly concerns?
Could you leave all you would possess to follow?

1Cor 4:6-15; Psalm 145:17-21; Luke 6:1-5

calling
upon Him
we descend
into Truth
beyond
our pride
or doing
or our own
construction
of reality
we are life
given
live
received
becoming free
of all
that restricts
our love
of God’s life
flowing
through us

Do you call upon God for Life?

1Cor 4:1-5; Psalm 37:3-6,27-28,39-40; Luke 5:33-39

bringing
to light
what is hidden
in darkness
a new way
of being
that will not
contain the old
within
the security
of God’s being
a new justice
will dawn
on us
with a light
authentic
clear
and pure

Do you resist a new way of being?

1Cor 3:18-23; Psalm 24:1-6; Luke 5:1-11

we cast
our nets
deep into
our soul
at His command
to see
a harvest
much greater
that we could ever
imagine
beyond reason
there is a place
of blessing
and imperishable
nourishment
that provides
all we need

Do you accept God’s invitation?
