Ez 34:11-16; Psalm 23:1-6; Romans 5:5-11; Luke 15:3-7

lost
we are found
strayed
we are brought back
sick
we are healed
the love
we long for
is poured out
into our hearts
from the Holy Spirit
of God
bringing kindness
and goodness
to us
and all others
we live
and rejoice
in God’s mercy
and love

Do you experience God’s love pouring into your heart?

2Timothy2:8-15; Psalm 25:4-15; Mark 12:28-34

the word
of God
alive
and free
teaching
and guiding
that we
may know
the ways
of kindness
and constancy
loving the Lord
with all
our soul
all of our mind
and all of our strength
and loving
our neighbor
as our self

Does God’s word lead the way in your life?

2Timothy 1:1-3,6-12; Psalm 123:1-2; Mark 12:18-27

He saved us
and called us
to a Holy life
we know Him
in whom
we have believed
confident
that He is able
to guard
what has
been entrusted
to us
stirring
into flame
the gift of God
that has been given
not a spirit of cowardice
but of power
and love
and self-control
beyond
the laws of men
a heaven
whose laws
of Holy Spirit
guide us
and make manifest
God’s goodness

Does God’s word come to Life in you?

Zeph 3:14-18;or Romans 12:9-16; Isaiah 12:2-6; Luke 1:30=56

our soul
proclaims
the goodness
of our God
from where
our strength
and courage
come
joy
leaps
in our heart
for the new life
God brings
rejoicing
in hope
enduring
in affection
we turn
from what is evil
and hold on
to God’s goodness

Where is God’s goodness?

2Peter1:2-7; Psalm 91:1-2,14-16; Mark 12:1-12

we surrender
to a divine power
that would
bestow on us
everything
that makes
a life
of devotion…
we supplement
our faith
with virtue;
virtue
with knowledge;
knowledge
with self-control;
self-control
with endurance;
endurance
with devotion;
devotion
with mutual affection;
mutual affection
with love

What is being asked of you?

Genesis 14: 18-20; Psalm 110: 1-4; Corinthians 11:23-26; Luke 9: 11-17

eyes
raised up
to heaven
a blessing
over
not enough
the few
are broken
with
His body
to be
enough
His life
before
the daystar
like the dew
in holy
splendor
begotten
to feed
all that is
with His love
new covenant
we are to remember
our hunger
in the desert
fed by Him
in the bread
we eat
the cup
we drink
and
share

Do you see His life in every meal?
Do you feed others from His cup?
Does He complete your “not enough”?

Jude 17, 20B-25; Psalm 63:2-6; Mark 11:27-33

by what
authority
do these words
of Love
come
through
the silence
of prayer
to our hearts
and live
in flesh
embodied
exchanged
manifesting
a will
and intent
of God
supreme
Being
of Love
bringing forth
a sound
of joy
in song
and praise

How do we know what we know?

1Peter 4:7-13; Psalm 96:10-13; Mark 11:11-26

not surprised
by a trial
by fire
we are cleansed
forgiving all
that we
may be forgiven
driving out
any currency
but Love
we offer
our gifts
freely
to one another
believing
that all
 we ask for
in prayer
will be received
through God’s love

Do you offer your gifts freely?

1Peter2:2-5,9-12; Psalm 100:2-5; Mark 10:46-52

called out
of darkness
into
His wonderful
light
building
Trust
from a Love
that lasts
receiving
an unbearable
mercy
that we claim
in hope
and faith
we come
with joy
into
the Presence
of God
restored
to sight

Do you trust in God’s Presence?

1Peter 1:18-25; Psalm 147:12-20; Mark 10:32-45

born
from the imperishable
seed
we love
one another
intensely
from a pure heart
serving
one another
from the Life
that loved
and saved us

Do you know what you are asking to follow Christ?
