Tobit 1:3, 2:1-8; Psalm 112:1-6; Mark 12:1-12

in our ignorance
desiring
what is not
our own
only given
for care
we lose
ourselves
in our wanting
destroying
the most precious thing
learning mercy
as we see
what we have done
we embrace His light
in our darkness
returning
through Love
to Life

Have you ever been lost?

Acts 2:1-11; Psalm 104: 1, 24, 29-34; Cor 12: 3-7, 12-13; John 20: 19-23

breath
of Spirit
come down
upon us
one body
sharing
different
gifts for
common good
the face
of earth
renewed
as we speak
our own tongue
yet hear
in our heart
the marvels
of God’s love
our oneness
and see
glory

Do you live by the breath of God’s spirit?
Do you see our oneness in God?
What do you hear with your heart?

Acts 25:13B-21; Psalm 103:1-2,11-12,19-20; John 21:15-19

becoming
the Light
he saw
his life
proclaimed
the kingdom
of God
whose searching
glance
is upon us
seeking love
and justice
guiding us
into Truth
hating violence
and embracing
peace

What do you see that you become?

Acts 22:30-23:6-11; Psalm 16:1-11; John 17:20-26

within
God’s sphere
of Unity
we envision
all possibility
for love
and peaceful
existence
as we see
an abundance
that lives
within our means
in Spirit
releasing us
from greed
and lust
hoarding
and resentment
into a flow
of sharing
and giving
as a way
of receiving
no past to cling to
as all is fulfilled
in this Present moment

How are you fulfilled in God in this present moment?

Romans 12:9-16; Isaiah 12:2-6; Luke 1:39-56

a child leaps
within
the womb
knowing
even in secret
what is to come
a saving grace
of love
through a woman’s “yes”
of faith

what joy to come
when we finally see
who we are
meant to be
and satisfy
the poor
and hungry
with food
for their body
and our souls

How do you satisfy the world’s hunger?

Acts 20:17-27; Psalm 68: 10-21; John 17:1-11

with all intent
for good
we struggle
the day
knowing that
another plan
is elsewhere
conversations
that effect
even the passageway
of death
go on without us

where do we
place our life
and heart
and soul
and mind
in this circumstance
that we might live
in a joy
our own
not belonging
to the world’s whim
for us
but in God’s
own desire
for peace
in God’s own desire
for love

Where do you place your life?

Acts 19:1-8; Psalm 68:2-7; John 16:29-33

never alone
we abide
in God’s
Holy Spirit
who guides us
even as there is trouble
in the world
our minds
and hearts
rejoice
in His ways
steering clear
of deception
we gain courage
and peace
through God’s gift
of faith

What guides your mind and heart?
How do you know what is true?

Acts 1: 12-14; Ps 27: 1-8; 1 Peter 4: 13-16; John 17: 1-11

together
with the women
they prayed
fearless
in His light
wanting only
to dwell
in God’s house
answering
the call
of their heart
seeking only God
unity of all
beyond time
living only
in love
free of a world
that would murder
and steal…
their hearts
are pure

What is God’s desire?
What is your desire?
Are they the same?

Acts 18:9-18; Psalm 47:2-7, John 16:20-23

we leave
our fear
and silence
and speak
of God’s desire
for love
and peace
knowing
we live
in His Presence
and power
filled with a joy
that cannot
be taken

as a mother’s pain
of her labor
is forgotten
in the joy of birth
so shall we
in our homecoming

How do we let go of our fear, suffering and sorrow?
How do we enter God’s desire for us?
