Eph 2:19-22; Psalm 19:2-3,4-5; Luke 6:12-16

spending
the night in prayer
the words of love
come from God
to show us
who we are
one life
held together
by the bonds
of the Holy Spirit
uniting
in a way
we have yet to understand
day pours out
the word to day
night imparts knowledge
with a message
for those who would hear

What do you hear?

Romans 7:18-25; Psalm 119: 66,68,76,77,93,94; Luke 12:54-59

Grace
given
is all we need
for our life
for it is God’s Love
working in us
teaching wisdom
showing Goodness
Forgiveness
and Compassion
we see the Light
of His Love
rising in our life
each day
we give thanks
for what we have
been given
and share the joy
of our being

Do you accept His grace?
Do you have the courage to forgive everything and be joyful?

Romans 6:19-23; Psalm 1:1-6; Luke 12:49-53

the earth
on fire
with a dividing love
separates us
from all misperception
forcing us
to ask
what Truth
we follow
and what is written
in our heart
once answered
we know
who we are

Who are you?

Romans 6:12-18;  Psalm 124:1-8; Luke 12:39-48

love undeserved
given
as grace
for itself
and for our help
against all
that would misguide
we stay awake
to His Presence
grateful
for our freedom
grateful
for Life
raised from death–
our weapon
our defense
is our faith
standing firm
standing watch
a peaceful gaze
waiting
for the dawning light
to bring us home

Are you ever awake to God’s presence?

Romans 5:12-20; Psalm 40:7-17; Luke 12:35-38

God’s law
of Love
written in our hearts
brings joy
to our life
even as we face
our sorrows
we see His light
shining
and we serve
the Beauty we see
trusting
whole-heartedly
that God’s will
is for the Goodness
of All

How do you serve God’s love everyday?

Romans 4:20-25; Luke 1:69-75;Luke 12:13-21

empowered
by the gift of faith
we are set free
by the living word
that saves us
from our greed
enmity
and misperceptions
showing us
what matters
to God
the love
and justice
for all
his people

How are you saved?

Isaiah 45:1-6; Psalm 96: 1-10; Thess 1:1-5; Mt. 22:15-21

in the rising
and setting sun
we live
in the light
of God
laboring in
love
living in
love’s power
Holy Spirit
in your breath
upon our lips
we speak
your love
with conviction
rendering
all to God
as all
is God’s
not acting
for human favor
but for
the love of God
the love
of all

Do you give to God what is God’s?
What is God’s?

Romans 4:13,16-18; Psalm 105:6-7,8-9,42-43; Luke 12:8-12

gifted
with faith
we follow
the law of love
written
in our hearts
God’s new covenant
that leads us
through the Holy Spirit
to all hope
and joy
calling into being
what does not exist
and giving life
to the dead

Do you follow the Holy Spirit to love?

Romans 4:1-8; Psalm 32:1-11; Luke 12:1-7

in times
of trouble
we turn to God
and reveal
the darkness
of our hearts
and pray for
the light of Truth
that informs
and saves us
from fear
and the guilt
of sin
that separates us
opening us
to the joy
of God’s never ending love

Do you turn to God in times of trouble?

All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.

Deep the joy of being together in one heart
and for me that’s just where it is.

As we make our way through all the joys and pain,
can we sense our younger, truer selves?

All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.

Someone will be calling you to be there for a while.
Can you hear the cry from deep within?

All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.

Laughter, joy and presence: the only gifts you are.
Have you time? I’d like to be with you.

All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.

Persons come into the fiber of our lives,
and then their shadow fades and disappears.

All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
All I ask of you is forever to remember me as loving you.
