2Cor3:15-4:1-6; Psalm 85:9-14; Matthew 5:20-26

turning to God
the veil
is lifted
from our eyes
and we see All
as it was meant
to be seen
a Love
connecting
all of Creation
all in favor
of one another
a web of giving
flowing
creating
the Light
of Glory
from the darkness
the Light
of Christ
that sets us free

Has God lifted the veil from your eyes?

2Cor 3:4-11; Psalm 99:5-9; Matthew 5:17-19

embracing
the Spirit
of the law
we enter
a love
that fulfills
all promises
nothing
is beyond
its reach
where forgiveness
and mercy live
and all hope
resides

Do you live by the spirit of God’s law?

2Cor 1:18:22; Psalm 119:129-135; Matthew 5:13-16

Spirit
of our heart
given
in promise
is the “yes”
to all
that God desires
as His face
shines
upon us
so we shine
with the love
that is given
that no one
can take
from us

What does God desire?

2 Cor 1:1-7; Psalm 34:2-9; Matthew 5:1-12

encouraged
in every way
by the Holy Spirit
we taste
and see
the goodness
of the Lord
in our poverty
our mourning
our meekness
and hunger
for peace
and righteousness
we are shown
a mercy
that clears our mind
and heart
to see

How are you encouraged by the Holy Spirit?

Exodus 34: 4-6,8-9; Daniel 3; 2 Cor 13: 11-13; John 3: 16-18

our merciful God
gracious
slow to anger
abounding
in steadfast
love and faithfulness
sending love
for salvation
we open
our hearts
our minds
our bodies
our breath
to his
holy breath
condemned
no longer
we see
the Truth
of love
we are
free
to live
in peace
will all

Do you experience the grace of God
Do you feel God’s breath in you?
Are you alive in his spirit?

Tobit 12:1-20; Tobit 13: 2-8; Mark 12:38-44

giving
from our surplus
we live
in our greed
not knowing
what is needed
for the journey-

nothing less
than everything

From where do you give?

Tobit 11:5-17; Psalm 146:1-0; Mark 12:35-37

sight
returned
we are freed
after years
of blindness
suffering
and pain
one comes
into our life
who knows
our need
for healing
and touches us
bringing Light

full of gratitude
we praise
the One
who is the source
of our blessing
and the one
who brings it

How have you been healed?
Who brought this blessing to you?

Tobit 6:10-11;8:4-9; Psalm 128:1-5; Mark 12:28-34

drawing near
to God
we know
we are to love
with all
our heart
our soul
and mind
and strength
loving God
ourselves
and our neighbor
praying
in thankfulness
and praying
for the courage
to live
His love
each day

Where do you find the courage to love each day?

Tobit 3:1-11,16-17; Psalm 25:2-9; Mark 12:18-27

our hearts
cry out
to God
in our distress
whom we trust
to guide us
to Truth
justice
compassion
and kindness

no longer misled
we see
beyond our mask
and pretense
to the face
of the living God
beholding a power
that challenges
all that we thought
we knew
and are healed

Are you challenged by the face of the living God?

Tb 2:9-14; Psalm 112: 1-9; Mark 12:18-17

pressed
by the needs
of the world
we become
short-sighted
and short-tempered
until
touched by the Spirit
we relinquish ourselves
into a greater
knowing
a greater
wisdom
and embrace
God’s love
and peace
as our guide

Do you feel the pressure of the world’s needs?
How do you respond?
