Jeremiah 23: 1-6; Psalm 23: 1-6; Eph 2: 13-18; John 6: 1-5)

a voice calls
through the maze
of our deceptions
to follow
to learn
to speak
of ways
known and born
of Truth
breaking down
the barriers
that keep us
from peace
we walk
through this dark valley
and fear no evil
with courage to live
in oneness
in love
and in peace

Do you hear and follow the voice of God?
Do you have the courage to live in peace?
Do you want only God’s love for all?

Matthew 2:1-5; Psalm 10:1-8,14; Matthew 12:14-21

withdrawing
from the ones
who would do Him harm
He heals
and cures
the faithful
who follow
even as He aware of
what is to come
He knows
who He is
in God’s love
never ceasing
doing Good
we follow
the path
of Life

Do you follow His path to life?
What gives you strength to carry on when you are hurting and afraid?

Isaiah 26:7-9,12,16-19; Psalm 102:13-15; Matthew 11:28-30

seeing
with compassion
our suffering
and groaning
is heard
and a voice
speaks
into our heart…
“come to me
all who labor
and are burdened
and I will give you
rest”

Do you find your rest in God’s love and compassion?

Isaiah 10:5-7, 13-16; Psalm 94:5-6,1-15; Matthew 11:15-27

setting
ourselves
in rightful trust
we see God
with child-like
wonder
and our hearts
return to
the Goodness
that is the mind
of God

Do you see with child-like wonder?

Psalm 95:8

if today
you hear
God’s voice
harden not
your heart

How do you keep your mind and heart open to God’s voice?
What do you hear?

Isaiah 1:10-17; Psalm 50; Matthew 10:34-11:1

God’s love
above all
our guide
no ritual
or ceremony
can take the place
of His justice
His love of all
in care
and compassion
giving
and forgiving
of one another
in grateful
praise

How do you live out God’s love?

Amos 7:12-15; Psalm 85: 8-14; Ephesians 1:3-14; Mark 6:7-13

He opens
our minds
to a way
we cannot resist
to God’s generosity
and who we
were meant to be
from the beginning
we shed our possessions
and live in His light
a way to truth
that reveals goodness
and kindness
as our way of being

How does Christ open your mind to Truth?
How does He reveal your goodness?
Do you believe how much you are loved?

Isaiah 6:1-8; Psalm 63:1-2,5; Matthew 10:24-33

fearing
what would destroy
our soul
we peer
into the darkness
and find
the voice
of Light
whispering
of a healing
Presence
that touches
our lips
and we proclaim
the Truth
of a Love
without condition
existing
for its own
Goodness
indestructible
in God

What Light do you find in the darkness?
What Truth?

Hosea 14:2-10; Psalm 51:3-4,8-9,12=14,17; Matthew 10:16-23

persevering
in faith
to the end
we are saved
by our devotion
to mercy
and love
a forgiveness
that frees us
to be
more humane
in our living
sustaining us
through
a willing Spirit
turning us
to the purifying Light
of God’s love

To what are you devoted?
Are you sustained by the Holy Spirit?

Hosea 11:1-9; Psalm 80:2,3,15-16; Matthew 10:7-15

freely
we give
what has been given
curing
cleansing
healing
even as
the one who receives
does not know
the healer
has come
we care
for the children
the vine
that was planted
knowing
the heaven
that is here

Do you know the heaven that is here?
