Mark 10:13-16

with wisdom
ever conscious
or the presence
of God
Jesus embraces
the children
as we are embraced
created
in image
for one glorious
brief moment
of beholding
we are asked
to live
in loving kindness
and compassion
caretakers
of justice-
God’s love for all

What challenges your commitment to loving kindness?

James 5:9-15; Psalm 103:1-12; Mark 10:1-12

saying yes
when we mean yes
and no
when we mean no
we follow
the way
of Truth
arising
from our inner Being
one with God
and All that is
we know mercy
and kindness
and love
and act
from this Holy place

Do you say yes when you mean yes and no when you mean no?

James 5:1-6; Psalm 49:14-20; Mark 9:41-50

our wealth
is nothing
in the eyes
of one
who only sees
our love
and goodness
trusting in
our possessions
we lose our way
trusting
in God
we find it
and give
ourselves
to Life
to our children
and to those
in need

Do you give yourself to God’s Love?

James 4:13-17; Psalm 49:2-3,6-11; Mark 9:38-40

this one
moment
a gift
that no money
can buy
or redeem
given
for love
of God
and one
another
we give thanks
and cherish
All
doing
what is right
in His name

Do you appreciate the gift of this moment?

James 4:1-10; Psalm 55: 7-11,23; Mark 9:30-37

of two minds
we wage war
against
ourselves
serving our passions
instead of
each other
forgetting
the Oneness
from which
we come
striving
to be greater than
another
we lose
our way
lost
we seek
and find
the One
who will bring
peace
to our mind
and heart
through
grace
and knowledge
of our being

Are you of two minds?
How do you seek God’s peace?

Genesis 3:9-20; Psalm 87:1-7; John 19:25-34

sharing the burden
of our separateness
our sinfulness
we see His cross
His thirst
and enter the mystery
of suffering
speaking a language
beyond our understanding
yet reaching a place
of knowing in us
where we live with Him
in God’s love
and say with him
“it is finished”
releasing our Spirit
to heaven’s joy

How do you experience the cross?

Acts 2.1-11; Ps. 104 1, 24, 29-31,34; 1 Cor 12.3b-7,12,13; John 20.19-23

a noise
a strong
driving wind
tongues of fire
the Holy Spirit
our advocate
coming down
among us
to renew
the face
of the earth
fruits of each
from the God
who loves All
for One good
He brings peace
and we breathe easily
freed from fear
we live
in the gifts
and drink of
the one Spirit
we give our lives
for this…
faithfulness
gentleness
love
joy
patience
kindness
generosity
self-control (Gal. 5:22-23)

How do you use your gifts?

Acts 25:13B-21; Psalm 103:1-2,11-12,19-20; John 21:15-19

becoming
the Light
He saw
His life
and proclaimed
the kingdom of God
whose searching
glance
is upon us
always
seeking love
and justice
guiding us
into Truth
hating violence
embracing peace
and calling us home

What do you see that you have become?

Acts 22: 30; 23: 6-11; Psalm 16: 1-11; John 17: 20-26

my soul
rejoices
in you
who show me
the path
of life
each day
in your
presence
I rest
in your counsel
and safety
even as my body
is tired and in pain
and my mind
may be confused
I am at peace
in your love

Is your soul in peace?
