Acts 8: 5-8, 14-17; Psalm 66; 1 Peter 3: 15-18; John 14: 15-21

Spirit seen
we cry out
to God
with joy
not left
as orphans
we see
our Life
in God
the realm
of Spirit among us
the earth
is renewed
with Love

How is the spirit revealed to you?
Do you hear the earth cry out to God with joy?

Acts 16:1-10; Psalm 100 1-5; John 15:18-21

calling
of mystery
Holy Spirit
of God
guiding
from chaos
to calm
from darkness
to light
prompting
our doing
our speaking
our being
to Goodness
and loving-kindness
the song of morning
welcomes His word
lyric to our melody
that cries out
to God with joy

What song of morning welcomes you?

Acts 15:22-31; Psalm 57:8-12; John 15:12-17

we wake
the dawn
with God’s calling
for love
a desire
for all
in justice
birdsong
fills the air
as tides
come and go
today
I belong
to the music
of the spheres
no regret
or plan
but to rest
in God’s grace
knowing
all shall be well

How do you wake the dawn?

Acts 15: 7-21; Psalm 96: 1-10; John 15: 9-11

remaining
in the One
who knows
our hearts
and grants
our Spirit
that we may
love
one another
with unselfish
concern
accepting
each other
in faith
seeking
each others good
that our joy
may be
complete

Do you accept each other in faith?

Acts 15:1-6; Psalm 122:1-5; John 15:1-8

remaining
in God’s love
a vine
on the branch
our life
is secured
bearing fruit
through
the Holy Spirit
love
joy
peace
kindness
patience
faithfulness
generosity
gentleness
self-control
through God
we know
who we are

Do you know you are loved and belong to God?

Acts 14:19-28; Psalm 145:1-21; John 14:27-31

do not
let your hearts
be troubled
even as death
is at your door
for God
is with you
offering peace–
a peace
the world
cannot give

How do you hear these words?
Do you take them to heart?

Acts 14:5-18; Psalm 115: 1-4,15-16; John 14:21-26

His word
coming
as Advocate
alive
and working
through
our minds
and hearts
we follow
God’s commands
as Wisdom
testimony
to Truth
we have
all we need
as each breath
is a welcoming
to God’s love

How do you receive God’s word?

Acts 14: 21-27; Psalm 145:8-13; Rev 21: 1-5; John 13: 31-35

loving one another
we see
a new heaven
and a new earth
God living
among his people
where death
and sorrow
crying
out in pain
and mourning
will be no more
as we comfort
one another
far from trials
and persecution
kindness and mercy
compassion and grace
dwell among us
in hearts
ready for God’s word

Can you imagine a world ruled by loved?
What form would it take?
Is your heart ready?

Acts 12:44-52; Psalm 98: 1-4; John 14:7-14

looking into
the eternal moment
we see
God’s love
and goodness
unyielding
and persistent
feeding
mercy and forgiveness
answering
our prayers
for compassion
kindness
and generosity
in each heart
freed Spirit
seed of Christ
becomes
the tree of life
we rejoice
in a new song
of Love

What do you see in the eternal moment?

Acts 13:26-33; Psalm 2:6-11; John 14: 1-6

Jesus
you say
“do not let your hearts
be troubled”
and I say
how can they
not be
when the world
pounds
on our door
each day
with bad news-
you answer
with faith
a faith in God
a faith in you
as a way
love as a way
to follow

How does God’s love show the way?
