Hebrews 6: 10-20; Psalm 111: 1-10; Mark 2: 23-28

you are
an anchor
for our soul
sure
and firm
reaching
beyond
into
the heart
of God
where
we find
all we need
in love
fed
we work
tirelessly
in this
given
love
which
we return
most graciously
to you
through
another

Is all of your hope in the promises of God?
How do you return the love that has been given?

Hebrews 5:1-10; Psalm 5: 1-10; Mark 2: 18-22

beset
by weakness
we know
our need
and pray
with offerings
for guidance
from the one
who knows
the will
of God
of love
itself
perfected
in suffering
we are
given
new life
with him

Do you know your need?
Do you accept His guidance?

Isaiah 62: 1-5; Ps. 1-3, 7-10; 1 Cor 12: 4-11; John 2: 1-12)

this water
turned to wine
a mother
knows
her Son’s time
a step taken
and we
no longer
forsaken
no longer
desolate
are brought
into the land
of Truth’s heart
espoused
gifts are given
for common good
we express
wisdom
and knowledge
faith
and healing
prophecy
gift of tongues
and understanding
spirit enlivens
all
with marvelous deeds
we will not be silent
we are His
water
turned to wine

What is your gift?
How do you share it?

Hebrews 4: 12-16; Psalm 19: 8, 9, 10, 15; Mark 2: 13-17

He says
follow me
to the living
God
where truth
lives
in words
that are Spirit
and life
nothing
hidden
in weakness
need
or deceit
only love
revealed
in reflection
and thought
a law
of wisdom
that sets us free
our heart
rejoices
our soul
is refreshed
our eyes
enlightened
in the mercy
and grace
of God

Have you heard Jesus say “follow me”?
What did your heart say?
Are you healed by His presence

Hebrews 4: 1-5, 11, Psalm 78: 3-8; Mark 2: 1-12

paralyzed
we are lowered
by the faith
of friends
into
His Presence
sins
are forgiven
infirmities
healed
we take up
our mat
and walk
home
with complete trust
and faith
in God’s
compassion
and love
we live
in God’s rest

Do you have complete faith in God’s power?
Do you rest in God’s love?

Hebrews 3: 7-14; Psalm 95; 6-11; Mark 1: 40-45

today
is the day
we hear
His voice
and harden not
our hearts
to His words
of life and love
and healing touch
we encourage
one another
in faithfulness
that deceit
may not enter
and lead us
astray
no longer weary
and anxious
we enter
His rest
and feel
His support
and peace

Do you hear His voice today?
Have you entered His rest?

Hebrews 2:14-18; Psalm 105: 1-9; Mark 1:29-39

tested
as we are
in His
humanity
yet remaining
faithful
to God
He shows us
the way
mediator
He casts out
demons
cures
our sickness
we lose
our fear
of death
in his eternal
life

Do you experience the compassion of Christ?
Do you experience God’s healing touch?

Hebrews 2: 5-12; Psalm 8: 2-0; Mark 1: 21-28

unclean
spirit
rebuked
we are amazed
at His authority
that comes from
the love of God
for His people
willing
to suffer
in this love
for us
until
we see
who
we are
sacred
in our creator
brothers and sisters
to one another
given
His power
to love
in the Holy Spirit

Do you know who you are?
Do you see your life as sacred?

Hebrews 1: 1-6; Psalm 97: 1-2, 6-9; Mt 1: 14-20

rejoice
and be glad
in this time
of fulfillment
heaven reveals itself
among us
and we are
no longer
separated
by sin
and death
the Glory
of God
reveals itself
to our eyes
shining
and seizing
our hearts
called
by this truth
and love
we follow

Do you follow when He calls?
Do you see heaven among us?

Isaiah 40.1-5, 9-11; Psalm 29. 1-10; Titus 2.11-14; 3.4-7; Luke 3.15, 16, 21, 22

the skies open
and a Holy Spirit
descends
on a beloved
from a God
well pleased
coming
to us
who wait
in anticipation
wondering
and waiting
in our hearts
for good news
of peace-
grasping
our hand
with no partiality
He forms us
opening
our eyes and
setting us free
in the light
of His justice
His love for all
we share in
His good works
blessing
and healing

Questions
Do you accept the grasp of His hand?
Do you accept the blessing of peace?
