Exodus 2:1-15; Psalm 3,14,30-34; Matthew 11:20-24

resisting
warning
prophecy
and woe
we persist
in our ways
devoid
of moral compass
lost
and running
until God
in infinite mercy
and grace
reveals
an irresistible love
that changes
everything

Have you been touched by God’s irresistible love?
How?
What sets your moral compass?

Exodus 1:8-14,22; Psalm 124:1-8; Matthew 10:34-11:1

severed
from all
that would keep us
from God’s goodness
we surrender
into a great mystery
this cross
this dying
so that we might
rise again
in all that gives life
Holy Spirit
renewer of all
we find our place
in your guidance
your strength
bringing us
to a greater love

Do you say yes to God’s invitation to a greater love?
What does it mean to take up your cross?

Amos 7:12-15; Psalm 85: 8-14; Ephesians 1:3-14; Mark 6:7-13

He opens
our minds
to a way
we cannot resist
to God’s generosity
and who we
were meant to be
from the beginning
we shed our possessions
and live in His light
a way to truth
that reveals goodness
and kindness
as our way of being

How does Christ open your mind to Truth?
How does He reveal your goodness?
Do you believe how much you are loved?

Genesis 49:29-32, 50:15-26; Psalm 105:1-7; Matthew 10:24-33

set free
by Truth revealed
we receive
clarity
of mind
and body
reconciled
and forgiven
we are grateful
and rejoice
in all the love
and goodness
offered to us
no longer afraid
of what is held
in secret
and darkness
we are held
in God’s healing Light

Are you held in God’s healing light?

Genesis 46:1-7, 28-30; Psalm 37:3-40; Mt 10:16-23

leaving all
on nothing but faith
we are guided
by the inner light
of Christ
returning
to our source
all becomes
illuminated
by God’s infinite love
providing
all we need
for the day-to-day
in sickness
and health
joy
and sorrow
famine
or feast
we live
in the joy
of knowing

Where do you live?
What guides your life?

Genesis 44:18-21; Psalm 105:16-27; Matthew 10:7-15

we travel
carrying nothing
but Spirit
giving all
that we have been received
at no cost
until Truth
is revealed
and all is forgiven
we are set free
cured
and cleansed
the famine ends
in the abundance
of knowing
who we are

Who are you?

Genesis 41:55-57, 42:5-24; Psalm 33:2-3,10-11; Matthew 10:1-7,18-19

living
in the design
of God’s heart
we are struck
with awe
in a sacred presence
that guides
and questions
our hearts
intent
desires
motives
revealed
we are held
in sacred judgement
that turns us
back to love

What do you hear in God’s questions to you?

Genesis 32:23-33;Psalm 17:2-15; Matthew 9:32-38

wrestling
through the night
with the power of God
challenging us
to stay faithful
to our calling
to heal
and give life
never despairing-
with the help
of God’s grace
we embrace
the truth
and care for all
with compassion

Do you find yourself wrestling with God?
How do you stay faithful?

Matthew 9:18-26

reaching out
in the courage
of our faith
we touch
the source
of our Being
in Christ
creator
and guide
of our life
setting us free
to live
this holy moment
in God’s holy
presence
able to rejoice
in the beauty
that surrounds us
knowing
we are protected
and will never be abandoned
as we keep our eyes fixed
on heaven

Do you reach out in courage?
Do you find love and forgiveness?

Feast of St. Thomas, Apostle
Ephesians 2:19-22; Psalm 117:1,2; John 20:24-29

greater than
my need
to touch
and see
my faith
lives beyond
our concepts
and concrete notions
in a a realm
that calls for
a complete surrender
into the mystery of God
allowing the Truth
of Christ’s completeness
to enter
revealing
a dwelling place
of God
in the Holy Spirit
who guides my life

What are your doubts?
How are you reassured?
How are you blessed?
