for those who see
a light has shone
in their darkness
and they are
radiant
with joy

How do you respond to the Light?

what is it
to be born
from above
of Spirit
as a wind
that blows
where it will
we hear its sound
we feel its effects
yet from where
does it come?
what are
these heavenly things
you will
for us
one mind
one heart
no claim of possessions
as our own
there are no needy
among us
as all is shared
and distributed
according to need
from love

What is this love that demands so much good?

speaking the language
of compassion
forever
we will sing
the goodness
of the Lord
we cast
our worries
upon Him
because He cares
for us
and provides
love and strength
and guidance
for all we must face
in the world
that challenges us
everyday

Do you cast your worries upon the Lord?
Do you speak the language of compassion?

do not persist
in unbelief
touch
and see
His wound
and rejoice
in the signs
and wonders
the healing power
breathed
by the Holy Spirit

how wonderful it is
in our eyes
we were hard pressed
and fallen
yet in God
we are raised up
in mercy
He has become
our strength
and courage
as we live the mercy
we have been given
we give thanks
for His goodness

Do you live the Holy Spirit of the risen Christ?
Are we blest to believe even though we have not seen?

of your Presence

a grace

Holy Spirit with us
this is the love
upon which we build
our lives

as we recognize

filled with faith
and love

the tomb
of her sorrow

stone rolled away

answers all
for what God
has given
cannot be put
to death
Son of Man
doer of good
healer
frees the oppression
and rises
in flesh and spirit
above

compassionate judge
of the truth
in our hearts
we stretch
and reach
into the above
into the mind of God
and receive
the bread of life
his life appears
and we are with Him
in Glory

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!
