Acts 15: 22-31; Psalm 7: 8-12; John 15: 12-17

we will
Wake
the dawn
with song
and praise
for the love
that lights
each day
beyond
the world’s
burden
that disturbs
the peace
of mind
the love
that breathes us
to life
for this
we lay down
our lives
for each other

Do you wake the dawn with song and praise?

Acts 15:7-21; Psalm 96: 1-10; John 15:9-11

finding
our answer
in God’s love
we open
our hearts
to each other
and leave our fears
behind
as we say
yes
to creation
and all
that it gives
working
tirelessly
for Life
daring
to sing
a song of joy
into life’s sorrows

Do you dare to sing a song of joy?

Acts 15:1-6; Psalm 122:1-5; John 15:1-8

remaining
in God’s love
a vine
on the branch
our life
is secured
bearing fruit
through
the Holy Spirit
love
joy
peace
kindness
patience
faithfulness
generosity
gentleness
self-control
through God
we know
who we are

Do you know you are loved and belong to God?

Acts 14:19-28; Psalm 145:1-21; John 14:27-31

do not
let your hearts
be troubled
even as death
or hardship
are at your door
for God
is with you
offering peace–
a peace
the world
cannot give

How do you hear these words?
Do you take them to heart?

Acts 13:44-52; Psalm 98: 1,2-4; John 14:7-14

living within
God’s commands
for love
we have everything
we need
turning from idols
we experience
God’s presence
among us
healing us
and guiding us
in ways
we could not imagine
we sing
for joy
in this new life
found
and share
all we have

How has experiencing God’s presence changed you?

Acts 14: 21-27; Psalm 145:8-13; Rev 21: 1-5; John 13: 31-35

loving one another
we see
a new heaven
and a new earth
God living
among his people
where death
and sorrow
crying
out in pain
and mourning
will be no more
as we comfort
one another
far from trials
and persecution
kindness and mercy
compassion and grace
dwell among us
in hearts
ready for God’s word

Can you imagine a world ruled by loved?
What form would it take?
Is your heart ready?

John 15:9-17

looking into
the eternal moment
we see
God’s love
and goodness
unyielding
and persistent
feeding
mercy and forgiveness
answering
our prayers
for compassion
kindness
and generosity
in each heart
freed Spirit
the seed of Christ
becomes
the tree of life
we rejoice
in a new song
of Love

What do you see in the eternal moment?
Do you follow God’s command to love?

Acts 12:24-13:5; Psalm 67:2-8; John 12:44-50

coming
as Light
he shines
in our darkness
revealing
a goodness
we didn’t know
or see
as our own
Holy Spirit
guiding our life
we listen
always
for God’s way

How do you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit?

hearing
God’s voice
we are filled with
the Holy Spirit
we see
the grace of God
and rejoice
encouraging
one another
to firmness
of heart
working
for love
justice
and mercy
in God’s name

Where do you see the grace of God?
How do you hear God’s voice

Acts 13:14, 43-52; Psalm 100: 1-5; Rev 7: 9-17; John 10: 27-3

hearing
God’s voice
we long to follow

the one
who will lead us
through
every trial
showing
the way

through our great distress
and finding shelter
in Him
knowing
no hunger
knowing
no thirst
drinking
of living water
never to be snatched
from God’s hand
resting
secure
and able to share with
one another
in joy

What is your longing?
Do you hear His voice?
Do you follow His way?
Do you share all with joy?
