beloved disciples
we know
His voice
raised from death
from curses
and hate-
alone
in darkness
catch but few
our nets casts forth
but in His light
and word
we are filled
and follow
unable to be silent
of the one who
has rescued us
loved us
we risk all
we give all
for it
better to obey God
than men-
by charcoal fires
we are fed
forgiven for denials
we love
and love
and love
feeding
tending
caring
even unto death
our mourning is
changed to dancing
while all creation
praises His love

Do you hear his voice in the stranger?
Do you forgive yourself and turn to love?
Do you praise Him at all times?
