our weakness
our suffering
you who have lived and walked
with us
bring us mercy
meeting place of God
and humanity
grace comes
in our sufferings
as we hunger
in famine
and wages of war
in the face of death
our soul is waiting
for your help
your shield
light seen
we put our hope
our trust
in you
who loves justice
and right
immersed in the waters
of you
we seek to share
to serve all
with this love
we have come
to know
in you

Do you see your affliction as a moment of grace?
Do you put all your hope and trust in God?
Do you serve with the love you have found?
