what treasure
do we have
but You
when all else is sand
Wisdom
our heart’s desire
this we love
filled at daybreak
we sing for joy
our one true God
our only Good
where all is possible
and known
you cut through
the lies
that are our life
and penetrate
the soul of us
and form the truth
free of murder
and stealing
unfaithfulness
and lies
dishonor
we sell all
and give our lives
to you
new life given
we understand
the promise
of your love

Do you sell all for the promise of God’s love?
Is God your treasure?
Is God’s love your joy?
