Sixth Sunday of Easter

Acts 15: 1-2; 22-29; Psalm 67: 2-8; Rev. 21:10-13, 22-23; John 14: 23-29

no temple
can contain
the light
of Glory
shown through
the God
of Love
shining His face
upon us
carried on
through the ages
in Spirit
read in the hearts
of ones
who have known
Him
lifting burdens
and
setting free
what was
meant to be
love of God
love of another
seeking
how to live this
in community
in the world

Have you seen the light of glory?
How does the spirit guide your life?
Have you been set free of burdens?

Fifth Sunday of Easter

Acts 14: 21-27; Psalm 145:8-13; Rev 21: 1-5; John 13: 31-35

love
one another
and
you shall see
a new heaven
a new earth
God living
among
his people
where death
and sorrow
crying out in pain
and mourning
will be
no more
far from trials
and persecution
kindness
and mercy
compassion
and grace
shall dwell
among us
in hearts
ready
for His word

Can you imagine a world ruled by loved?
What form would it take?
Is your heart ready for His word?
