Friday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Acts 25:13-21; Psalm 103:1-2,11-12,19-20; John 21:15-19

the one
who was thought
to be dead
is alive
in the love
we proclaim
in the feeding
and tending we do
seeing
another way
of Life
in the Holy Spirit
that cannot
be bought
or sold
contained
or controlled
by human means
an immeasurable
justice
called mercy
an immeasurable
kindness
called Love

Do you experience Him alive?

Thursday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Acts 22:30-23:6-11; Psalm 16:1-11; John 17:20-26

within
God’s sphere
of Unity
we envision
all possibility
for love
and peaceful
existence
as we see
an abundance
that lives
within our means
in Spirit
releasing us
from greed
and lust
hoarding
and resentment
into a flow
of sharing
and giving
as a way
of receiving
no past to cling to
as all is fulfilled
in this Present moment

How are you fulfilled in God in this present moment?

Wednesday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Acts 20:28-38; Psalm 68:29-36; John 17:11-19

consecrated
In Truth
we see God’s love
a light shining
through all that is
awakened
we see the Oneness
Of All
living
breathing
one heart beat
one breath

separate only
in delusion
creating the chaos
of greed
we descend
into war
in ourselves
and with one another
or we turn to
God’s saving power
of peace
knowing it is better
to give
than to receive

Do you turn to God’s saving power of peace

Tuesday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Acts 20:17-27; Psalm 68:10-11, 20-21; John 17:1-11

He has shown
a clear path
and He calls it
love
love of self
love of neighbor
love of enemy
and we ask
what is this love
that demands
so much good
wrapped
in kindness
and compassion
enduring beyond
all human cruelty
forgiving all
embracing all
we see beyond
our own means
to find it
living in
the divine will
we find the Glory
of God

What is this love that demands so much good?

Seventh Sunday of Easter

Acts 7:55-60; Ps 97: 1-9; Rev 22: 12-20; John 17: 20-26

tree of life
morning star
we come
thirsty
to drink
of Life
and become one
with the Love
from which we came
revealed to us
from One who
knew God’s love
God’s glory
as a father
and Son
no stones can kill
what we have seen
spirit arises
to Truth
even those who would kill
will be forgiven
when light reveals
and a path
is set straight
we see the unity
of all
completed in God’s love
alpha and omega
first the last
beginning and end

How do we know love without His presence?
How do we experience our unity?
How do we forgive those who would kill us?

Saturday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Acts 18: 23-28; Psalm 47: 2-10; John 16: 23-28

you say
until now
we have not
asked anything
in your name
you say
ask the Father
in my name
and you will receive
so that your joy may be complete

so we ask
for the end of war
and hate
and violence
and sin
and suffering
and death and grief
exploitation
of one another
through slavery
and human trafficking
and greed and lust
and the end of
racism and sexism
and guns and weapons
that kill and destroy
we ask for love and peace.
we ask you
in Jesus name. Amen

Friday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Acts 18:9-18; Psalm 47:2-7, John 16:20-23

we leave
our fear
and silence
and speak
of God’s desire
for love
and peace
knowing
we live
in His Presence
and power
filled with a joy
that cannot
be taken
as a mother’s pain
of her labor
is forgotten
in the joy of birth
so shall we
in our homecoming

How do we let go of our fear, suffering and sorrow?
How do we enter God’s desire for us?

Thursday of the Sixth Week of Easter

The Ascension of the Lord
Acts 1:1-11; Psalm 47:2-9; Ephesians 1:17-23; Mt 28:16-20

ascending
to God’s desire
for love
and peace
upon the earth
we embrace
the Holy Spirit
who enables us
to carry on
our work
with the eyes
of our hearts
enlightened
and the hope
of His call
within us
so grateful
for His Presence
we are filled
with joy
leaving behind
despair

Where is your hope?
Are the eyes of your heart enlightened?
