Trinity Sunday

Exodus 34: 4-6,8-9; Daniel 3; 2 Cor 13: 11-13; John 3: 16-18

our merciful God
gracious
slow to anger
abounding
in steadfast
love and faithfulness
sending love
for our salvation
we open
our hearts
our minds
our bodies
our breath
to God’s
holy breath
Holy Spirit
condemned
no longer
we see
the Truth of love
we are free
to live
in peace
with all

How do you experience the grace of God
How is the Holy Spirit alive in you?
How do you experience Jesus in your life?

Memorial of the Blessed Mother Mary

Genesis 3:9-20; Psalm 87:1-7; John 19:25-34

standing by the cross with Mary
sharing the burden
of our separateness
our sinfulness
we see His cross
His thirst
and enter the mystery
of suffering
speaking a language
beyond our understanding
yet reaching a place
of knowing in us
where we live with Him
in God’s love
and say with him
“it is finished”
releasing our Spirit
to heaven’s joy

How do you experience the cross?
How do you respond to His thirst?

Pentacost Sunday

Readings: Acts 2:1-11; Psalm 104: 1, 24, 29-34; Cor 12: 3-7, 12-13; John 20:19-23

breath
of Spirit
come down
upon us
one body
sharing
different
gifts
for
the common good
the face
of the earth
is renewed
as we speak
our own tongue
yet hear
in our heart
the marvels
of God’s love

for all
and see
Glory

Do you live by the breath of God’s spirit?
Do you see our oneness in God?

Friday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Acts 25:13-21; Psalm 103:1-2,11-12,19-20; John 21:15-19

the one
who was thought
to be dead
is alive
in the love
we proclaim
in the feeding
and tending
we do
seeing
another way
of Life
in the Holy Spirit
that cannot
be bought
or sold
contained
or controlled
by human means
an immeasurable
justice
called mercy
an immeasurable
kindness
called Love

Do you experience Him alive?
How?
