2Peter 3:12-15,17-18; Psalm 9-:2-4,10,14,16; Mark 12:13-17

filling us
at daybreak
with kindness
our hearts sing
for joy
and gladness
as we turn our minds
to God
serving with compassion
those in sorrow
hunger
or pain
joining
with those who rejoice
in God’s love
and presence

returning to God
what is God’s

Do you rejoice in God’s presence?
Do you follow the Holy Spirit for guidance?

Memorial of Saint Charles Lwanga and companions, martyrs
Psalm 91:1-2,14-16; Mark 12:1-12

we surrender
to a divine power
that would
bestow on us
everything
that makes
a life
of devotion…
we supplement
our faith
with virtue;
virtue
with knowledge;
knowledge
with self-control;
self-control
with endurance;
endurance
with devotion;
devotion
with mutual affection;
mutual affection
with love

What is being asked of you?

Corpus Christi
Exodus 24:3-8; Psalm 116: 12-18; Hebrews 9:11-15; Mark 14: 12-16, 22-26

beyond our means
to see
precious death
His life
His body
His pulsing blood
poured out
calls us
to a living God
calls us to Life
cleansing our conscience
from dead works
to worship
the living God
passing into
 His love
His truth
that we may know
the new covenant
living in us
beating
in our hearts
His blood
our blood
we are
one with Him

Do you experience His life within you?
How do you accept his new covenant in your heart?

Jude 17,20b-25; Psalm 63:2-6; Mark 11:27-33

what saving grace
will come to us
as we struggle
with violence
greed
and deception
from those who
have stolen authority

praying
in the Holy Spirit
we keep ourselves
in God’s love
living with
patience
for God’s mercy
to a waiting world
for we have seen
a Glory
that will not fail

Is your soul thirsting for God
Do you pray in the Holy Spirit?
Are you held in God’s love?

Feast of the Visitation of Mary
Zeph 3:14-18;or Romans 12:9-16; Isaiah 12:2-6; Luke 1:30=56

our soul
proclaims
the goodness
of our God
from where
our strength
and courage come
joy leaps
in our heart
for the new life
God brings
rejoicing
in hope
enduring
in affection
we turn
from what is evil
and hold on
to God’s goodness

Where do you find God’s goodness?

1Peter2:2-5,9-12; Psalm 100:2-5; Mark 10:46-52

called out
of darkness
into
His wonderful
light
building
Trust
from a Love
that lasts
receiving
an unbearable
mercy
that we claim
in hope
and faith
we come
with joy
into
the Presence
of God
restored
to sight

Do you trust in God’s Presence?
Do you come with joy into God’s presence?

1Peter 1:18-25; Psalm 147:12-20; Mark 10:32-45

born from
the imperishable
seed
we love
one another
from His pure heart
serving
one another
from the Life
and love
that saves us

Do you know what you are asking to follow Christ?
What do you want Jesus to do for you?

1Pt 1:10-16; Psalm 98:1-4; Mark 10:28-31

releasing
all attachments
we see
into the Presence
of God
source
of our Being
Love
Kindness
and Goodness-

restored
we serve God
not ourselves
offering praise

and giving thanks
we are at peace

What do you see when you release all attachments?
Do you serve God rather than yourself?

1Peter1:3-9; Psalm 111:1-2,5-6,9-10; Mark 10:17-27

giving up our possessions
we enter the freedom of heaven
as we are no longer bound
by what possesses us
but by God’s goodness
a covenant offered
to All in justice
imperishable
undefiled
unfading
safeguarded by faith
we enter a love
more precious than gold

from His guiding commands
we are alive
giving thanks
praying always
with all of our heart
for all things
are possible in God

What possesses you?
Do you live in the goodness of God?
Do you cherish God’s good news?

Dt. 4:32-34,39-40; Ps. 33:4-6,9,12, 18-22; Romans: 8: 14-17; Mt. 28:16-20)

we fix our heart on
the God of heaven
the God of earth
a voice
amidst the fire
and the strong hand
and outstretched arm–
we understand
God’s commands for love
from the one who loves
justice and right–
we are happy
as all are chosen
and live and breathe
with Him–
knowing we are
children of God
lead away
from slavery to love
we teach what we have
come to know
in our heart
we are One

with the love of God
the love of Jesus
and the love of the Holy Spirit
who is with us always
until the end of the age

Where have you heard the voice of God?
