Genesis 44: 18-21,23-29, 45:1-5; Psalm 105:16-21; Matthew 10:7-15

without
cost
we have
received
without
cost
we are
to give
take
nothing
for your
journey
and bring
peace
to those
who will
receive it
cure
raise
cleanse
drive out
forgive
and all
shall be well

What do you take on your journey?

Genesis 41:55-57; 42:5-7, 17-24; Psalm 33: 2-3, 10-11, 18-19; Matthew 10: 1-7

God
sees
the anguish
of our heart

we feel
his mercy
on us
as we place
our trust
in him

even as
famine
grips
the land

food is sent
through
his Son
in Body
and Spirit

we are healed

Does God see the anguish in your heart?

Ephesians 2: 19-22; Psalm 117: 1,2; John 20 24-29

one home
built upon
Love
that holds
the structure
together
sacred dwelling
of Spirit
no need
to prove
or test
or touch
as our faith
in its sure
silent
Presence
grows
within us
we have
all we need

How do you believe in the unseen?

Genesis 22: 1B-19; Psalm 115: 1-9; Matthew 9:1-8

all is
forgiven
we rise
and walk
in the Presence
of the living God
who teaches
mercy
not sacrifice
pulling us away
from idols
that neither
hear
nor see
nor speak
nor smell
into the wonder
and mystery
of Being

Do you experience the Presence of the living God?

Genesis 19:15-9; Psalm 26:2-3, 9-10, 11-12; Mt 8:3-27

under
God’s judgement
sin
is destroyed
and God’s mercy
shown
as we are
guided
from destruction
not looking back
we place
our faith
in the one
who calms
the storms
Jesus
who saves us
with Truth

Do you take the hand of mercy?

Acts 3:1-10; Psalm 19: 2-5; Gal 1:11-20; John 21: 15-19

we sit
begging
at the
Beautiful Gate
until one comes
and says
arise
and walk
in the name
of Jesus
amazed
and astonished
we rise
and walk
praising
the goodness
of God
loving
from his heart
we follow
feeding
and tending
to need
with Him

Has He raised you up?

Wisdom 1:13-15; 2: 23-24; Psalm 30: 2,4, 5-6, 11-13; 2Cor 8: 7-15; Mark 5: 21-43

through ignorance
and envy
we destroy
what we claim
to love
opening
the door
to death
until
one comes
who knows
justice is
undying
our being
imperishable
touching us
healing
the draining
of life’s blood
and raising us
from our death
our mourning
is turned
to dancing
as we are
renewed
and reborn
in His love

Have you felt the healing of his touch?

Genesis 17: 1, 9-10, 15-22; Psalm 128: 1-5; Matthew 8: 1-4

his will
for life
and healing
work
for good
in our lives
even
as we
doubt
and lose faith
blessing us
in ways
that surprise
and amaze us
always
answering
our reverent
prayer

Have you been surprised and amazed?

Genesis 16: 1-16; Psalm 106: 1-5; Matthew 7: 21-24

not in
words
of prophecy
not in
driving out
demons
not in
mighty deeds
alone
do we enter
his kingdom
but by
hearing
God’s will
God’s love
for all
and
acting
on it
building
a house
on this rock
not shifting sands
so when the storms come
we stand secure
in solidarity
with God

How do you hear God’s will and act on it?

Jer 1: 4-10; Psalm 71: 1-17; 1Peter1: 8-12; Luke 1: 5-17

from
our mother’s
womb
we are known
and called
to a love
and a light
announced
from
the wild
and lived
in the day to day
a rock
of refuge
a stronghold
a safety
from what
life’s storms
may bring
we live
in the peace
of Christ

Do you experience the peace of Christ?
