1Kings 8:1-7,9=13; Psalm 132:6-10; Mark 6:53-56

God’s Glory
fills our room
a Presence
of love
and healing
that only wants
to give Life
calling us
we answer
as all
we have ever longed for
appears
in God’s dwelling place
we rest

Do you hear God’s calling?

Isaiah 6:1-8; Psalm 138: 1-8; 1Cor 15: 1-11; Luke 5: 1-11

we are struck
with awe
by who
you are
who we are
created
in you
we feel
the smallness
of our being
our undeserving
nature
yet
you call
and lift us
to you
hot ember
on unclean lip
angel of God
you free
my mouth
for words
of love
you ask
who shall I send
no longer afraid
i say
here I am
I shall go
risen
in your love

Have you felt the hot ember of God upon your lips?
The awe of His presence?
The peace He brings?

1Kings3:4-13; Psalm 119:9-14; Mrk 6:30-34

our hearts
are moved
with His
for understanding
of God’s way
for a love
and mercy
that finds
all the lost
and heals
all divisions
releasing
all sin
suffering
and death

How is your heart moved by Him?

Sirach 47:2-11; Psalm 18:31,47 and 50, 51; Mark 6:13-29

coming
to the morning
in darkness
we pray
and are met
with sweet melodies
of praise
resound
on earth’s altar
opening our hearts
to God’s generous spirit
all is forgiven
as we see
the face of God
and live

Is your heart touched by God’s generous spirit?

1Kings 2:1-4, 10-12; 1Chr 29:10-12; Mark 6:7-13

sent
two by two
for the journey
with nothing
but our faith
and trust
in God
that all
we need
will be provided
as we love God
with our whole heart
and soul
we go
where we are welcome
and shake the dust
from our feet
where we are not
demons
flee from His presence
the sick
are cured

Do you trust God completely with your whole heart and soul?

2Samuel 24:2,9-17; Psalm 32:1-2,5-7; Mark 6:1-6

thinking
we know
we miss
God’s voice
in the familiar

wanting
to control
we plan against
God’s desire

until
in a light
of awareness
we see
and are struck
with a great sorrow
that becomes
mercy

Have you missed God’s voice in the familiar?

Mal 3:1-4; Psalm 24:7-10; Hebrews 2:14-18; Luke 2:22-40

we wait
in the temple
of our hearts
for the messenger
the promised one
revealed
by the Holy Spirit
who will fulfill
our hearts desire
for love
and peace

even as our hearts
are pierced
we endure
the day
of His coming
through mercy
the way a brother
and sister comes
to us
in love

What has the Holy Spirit revealed to you?

2Samuel 15: 13-14,30; 16:5-13;Psalm 3:2-7; Mark 5: 1-20

healed
of his tormenting spirits
the man went off
and began
to proclaim
what Jesus
had done
for him

What has Jesus done for you?

Jeremiah 1:4-5;17-19; Ps 71: 1-6, 15-17; Cor 12: 31-13:13; Luke 4:21-30

from my mother’s womb
you knew me
bringing me forth
to light
my rock
you give
all
that will sustain me
the way
that surpasses
all others
love
that is patient
love that is kind
not rude
not self-seeking
not prone to anger
or brooding
love
that rejoices
in truth
love
with no limit
in trust
in hope
and endurance
never failing
when all else
passes away
we shall
prevail
and be delivered
from imperfection
face to face
with love

Have you come face to face with love?

2Samuel 12:1=7,10-17; Psalm 51:12-17; Mark 4:35=41

we take
what is not ours
and suffer
the consequence
as God’s nature
takes its course
death from death
life from life
some mercy comes
and our hearts
are created
anew
the storms
are calmed
and we stand
in awe
of the power
from which
we are conceived
the power
in which we live

Have you taken what is not yours?
What mercy has come?
