Jeremiah 20: 10-13; Psalm 18: 2-7; John 10: 31-42

we bring
our distress
to you
you hear us
and answer us
with your
love and
strength
upholding us
as disease
and death
and fear
surrounds us
we dare
to sing
and praise
your goodness

Does God hear you?
How does God answer?

Genesis 17:3-9; Psalm 105:4-9; John 8:51-59

waking
to morning
Glory
we see
into the heaven
that surrounds us
faith of the ones
who have carried us
through all the times
of our sorrow
hardship
and grief
never forsaking
our Spirit
even as we felt
forsaken
to this we rise
each day
not grieving the Spirit
but embracing
her Love
praying
and resting
in God’s peace

Do you wake to morning’s Glory?
Do you allow yourself to feel God’s peace?

Dn 3:14-20, 91-92,95; Dn 3:52-56; John 8:31-52

each morning
awakening
from the chaos
of dreams
we choose
again
how we will
live the day
following
a path
with Him
where Truth
and Love
will set us free
where no fire
or death
can harm us
or another path
where we never
awaken
at all

How do you wake from the chaos of dreams?
Who is your guide in these tumultuous times?

Numbers 21:4-9; Psalm 102:2-21; John 8:21-30

not of this world
He sees
but from another vision
another Light
from Above
cutting through
our divisions
separateness
and sin
to the place
of our belonging
Love
and Unity
calling us out
to let go
and follow Him
through the door
of the cross
to the Truth
of Being
to the place of
I AM

What do you hear?
What do you see?
Where do you belong?

Daniel 13: 1-62; Psalm 23: 1-6; John 8: 1-11

within us
among us
we see you
and walk
with you
even in a valley
of darkness
you are
at our side
our guide
our companion
only goodness
and kindness
follow
with you
you give us
eyes of mercy

Do you see through the eyes of mercy?
Do you love as Jesus loved?
How do you help the wrongly accused?

Ezekiel 37: 12-14; Psalm 130: 1-8; Romans 8:8-11; John 11: 1-45

from the depths
our cries
are heard
graves opened
we are raised
from the dead
living
in God’s Spirit
of forgiveness
and mercy
no longer bound
we live
in loving-kindness
joy
and compassion
trusting in
God
and His word

When has Christ raised you from the dead?
Do you live in his spirit?

Jeremiah 11:18-20; Psalm 7:2-3,9-12; John 7:40-53

blinded
by preconceptions
and want
of power
we become
divided
and seek
vengeance
yet the searcher
of mind
and heart
and soul
reveals
a Truth
beyond
our knowing
even as it lives
within
and around us
challenging
and shaping us
putting an end
to malice
and returning us
to Love

Have you been blinded by preconceptions?
What does the searcher of mind and heart and soul reveal to you?

Exodus 32:7-14; Psalm 106: 19-23; John 5:31-47

searching
the Scriptures
we find Him
waiting
to be heard
and loved
into Being
the one
sent
to show us
the Way
leaving behind
our golden idols
we embrace
His burning
shining light

His sacred heart
rejoicing
in the mercy
and compassion
of God’s all-embracing
love

Where do you see God’s mercy, compassion and love?
What do you worship? What is your golden calf?

Isaiah 49: 8-15; Psalm 145: 8-18; John 5: 17-30

answering
God’s call
we pass
from death
to life
knowing
we are more
than flesh
and blood
earth
and stone
but Spirit
that raises us
to love
and kindness
caring
and compassion
restoring
a world
setting us
free
we rejoice!
we give thanks!
we sing!

Have you been set free?

Ez 47: 1-9, 12; Psalm 46: 2-3, 5-6, 8-9; John 5: 1-16

in our affliction
He calls our name
reaching into
the heart
and mind
and soul
of us

He asks
if we want to be well
and in a moment
we are changed
knowing we have met
the healing waters
of God’s love

being seen
being heard
by the source
of all love
and Truth
we can only answer
yes

healed
by his word
we stand
and walk
and follow

Do you want to be well?
Do you stand, take up your mat, and follow God’s love?
