we struggle

another plan

to the world’s whim
for us
but in God’s
own desire
for peace
in God’s own desire
for love

Holy Spirit

even as there is trouble
in the world

as a mother’s pain

in the joy of birth

in our homecoming

and breath

by our creator

our being

who says “I AM”

in the world’s chaos
and darkness
yet how beautiful
and amazing
to be found

a song heard
by ears turned
to God’s Glory
