of the Spirit
that guides
relieving the anxiety
of day to day
by providing
what we need
strength
courage
fortitude
and peace
keeping our minds
and hearts fixed
we will not lose our way

the heart receives
the blessing
of morning

to the Holy Spirit
we are lost
to our sacred purpose

yet a stilled heart
opens
to the voice
of angels
prophets
and friend
piercing the shield
of our anxiety
our ignorance forgiven
we are given
refuge
shelter
and new life
in Him

How is Jesus the bread of life for you?

for our soul’s nourishment
enduring life
giving all
we receive all
in the Truth
revealed

our hearts

to the joy
of the Lord
risen
alive
saving us
from all
that leads
to death
even
death
itself

Do you follow his path to life?
Have you entered the joy of the Lord?
Do you see him hidden in plain sight?

all of our trust

justice

famine

in spirit

he offers
a refuge
and path
leading us beyond
anger and doubt
to a place of patience
trust
and care
we taste
and see
the goodness
of the Lord

Can you get your anger to a place of patience and kindness?
