Acts 15:1-6; Psalm 122:1-5; John 15:1-8

remaining
in God’s love
a branch
on the vine
our life
bears fruit
through
the Holy Spirit
love
joy
peace
kindness
patience
faithfulness
generosity
gentleness
self-control–
through God
we know
who we are

Do you know you are loved and belong to God?

Acts 14:19-28; Psalm 145:1-21; John 14:27-31

do not
let your hearts
be troubled
even as death
or hardship
are at your door
for God
is with you
offering peace–
a peace
the world
cannot give

How do you hear these words?
Do you take them to heart?

Acts 14:5-18; Psalm 115: 1-4,15-16; John 14:21-26

His word
coming
as Advocate
alive
and working
through
our minds
and hearts
we leave
our idols

we follow
the living God
of Wisdom
and Truth
we have
all we need
as each breath
is a welcoming
to God’s love

Where is your God?
How do you receive God’s word?

Acts 14: 21-27; Psalm 145:8-13; Rev 21: 1-5; John 13: 31-35

loving one another
we see
a new heaven
and a new earth
God living
among his people
where death
and sorrow
crying
out in pain
and mourning
will be no more
as we comfort
one another-
far from trials
and persecution
we experience

kindness and mercy
compassion and grace
dwelling among us
in hearts
ready to live God’s word

Can you imagine a world ruled by loved?
What form would it take?
Is your heart ready?

John 15:9-17

one with Him
in God
Our Father
and Creato
r
we look into
the eternal moment
and see
God’s love
and goodness
unyielding
and persistent
feeding
mercy and forgiveness
answering
our prayers
for compassion
kindness
and generosity
in each heart
freed Spirit
the seed of Christ
becomes
the tree of life
we rejoice
in a new song
of Love

What do you see in the eternal moment?
Do you follow God’s command to love?

Acts 13:26-33; Psalm 2:6-11; John 14: 1-6

do not
let your heart
be troubled
you who know
and serve God

in humbleness
see the path
set before you
by the one
who came
to save
there is your
dwelling place
your home
in goodness
and loving-kindness

beauty and Truth

By what is your heart troubled?
Do you see the path set before you?
Where do you find your dwelling place?
Do you live in the Joy of the Lord?

Acts 13:13-25; Psalm 89:2-27; John 13:16-20

from a distance
we see the story
of our lives
the story
of God’s love
and goodness
the only story
we have to tell
“forever
we shall sing
the goodness
of the Lord”

How has your life been the story of God’s love and goodness?

Acts 1:15-17,20-26; Psalm 113:1-8; John 15:9-17

all
are chosen
to receive
the words
of love
from God
as seeds planted
to grow
in our hearts
and minds

and fashion
our ways
of being
with one another
bringing
a joy
that is complete
as we remain in
and trust in
His friendship
and Love

Do you experience the joy of receiving and giving God’s love?
Do you trust in the one who knows your heart?
Do you see Jesus as your friend?

Acts 11:19-26; Psalm 87:1-7; John 10:22-30

with firmness
of heart
we put all
of our faith
in God
trusting in
the love
that is calling us
we welcome
every moment
as God’s grace
and let go
of our own programs
for happiness
and listen to
His voice

What are your programs for happiness?
What are God’s?

Acts 11:1-18; Psalm 42:2-4; John 10:11-18

dreams
and visions
open our minds
to all that is
of God
nothing created
is profane
but ill intent–
with our soul
in longing
we hear His voice
and open our lives
to a love
that endures
laid down
and taken up
we enter
the joy
of the living God

Do you listen to your dreams?
Do you hear Gods’ voice?
What is your vision?
