Rv 11:19; 12:1-6,10; Psalm 45:10-16; 1Cor 15:20-27; Luke 1:30-56

our souls
proclaim
the greatness
of the Lord
our Spirit
rejoices
in God
our savior
who offers
mercy
and strength
filling
all of our needs
helping us
never forgetting
His promise
we feel the Light
of His love
within us
leaping up
for joy

How do you experience God’s light within you?

Dt 10:12-22; Psalm 147:12-20; Matthew 17:22-27

in loving
and serving God
with our whole heart
our whole soul
our whole mind
and loving
our neighbor
as ourselves
we fulfill
life’s purpose
for us
seeing within
and without
God’s goodness
creating life
as it was
called to be

How do you serve God’s love?

Kings 19:9-13; Psalm 85: 9-14; Romans 9: 1-5; Mt. 14: 22-33

tiny
whisper
we hear
you

the soft
kiss
of peace
and justice
for those
who
walk
the waters
fearlessly
in buoyed
faith
towards
the Christ
who waits
calming
the storms

struck
with belief
in the power
of His presence
we are saved

Are you buoyed by your faith?
Do you sink in your fear?

Dt 6:4-13; PSalm 18:2-4, 47, 51, Matthew 17:14-20

your mustard seed
of faith
grows
until it fills
all
of your world
air
and breath
earth
and sky
tree
and field
all
that you are
all
that will ever be
the mountain
is moved
healing comes
love
is revealed

Do you have even a mustard seed of faith?

Dt 4:32-40; Psalm 77:12=21; Matthew 16:24-28

to where
do we follow
that we would
deny our selves
and take up
our cross
in this life
that we lose
to save

what promised land
of truth
offered
that we should
place our faith
there

what vision
what Truth
is held within
His words
but the love
we have always
sought
the love
that has always been

What life are you being asked to follow?

2Cor 9:6-10; Psalm 112:1-9; John 12:24-26

seed
we fall
into the earth
and die
sending
root
deep
into the soil
nourished
we send
green
to the light
becoming
earth
and sky
through God’s creation
we give
as we
were meant to give
with joy

How do you give?

Numbers 13:1-2,25-14:1,26-35; Psalm 106:6-23; Mt 15:21-28

pleading
for our loved ones
health
we seek
the one
who is the source
of healing
placing
all
of our faith
there
that an answer
will come
and free them

How does God answer your prayers for healing?

Nm 12:1-13; Psalm 51:3-13; Matthew 13:22-36

tossed
and turned
in wild seas
a hand
reaches out
beckoning us
to leave
our fear
and walk
in faith
towards
a new way
to sustain us
though the winds
rage around us
God’s courage
upholds us

What does it take to embrace the courage of faith?

Number 11:4-15; Psalm 81:12-17; Matthew 14:13-21

through
God’s abundance
our need
is filled
even when
it is not
what we expected
and we complain
and moan
time
opens
our eyes
and we see
the little
we have
grow
and multiply
we see
all
that is
God

Do you see the abundance of God?

Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14; Psalm 97: 1-2, 5-6, 9; 2 Peter 1:16-19; Mark 9: 2-10

morning star
rising in our heart
flames of fire
burning
we rejoice
we are glad
to see the Truth
of God among us
purest power of God
even as Truth’s terror
strikes our heart
we see heaven’s justice
heaven’s glory
we listen
as we are told of
God’s pleasing son
a light shining
in the dark place of us
transfigured
no tent pitched
no shrine built
eternal place
cast into the seer’s eyes
the knower’s heart
revealed
in God’s time.

Have we been transfigured with him?
Have we felt the awe of God’s truth?
