our nets casts forth
alone
in darkness
are fruitless
but in His light
and word

unable to be silent

has rescued us
and loved us
we risk all
we give all
by holy fires
we are fed
forgiven for denials
we love
and love
and love
feeding
tending
caring
forgiving
even unto death-
our mourning is
changed to dancing
while all creation
praises His love

Do you hear God’s voice in the stranger?
Do you forgive ourselves and turn to love?
Do you praise God at all times?

He guides us to safe harbor

in God’s justice

from love

What is this love that demands so much good?

by His Spirit

to go forth

even as we meet
resistance

and temptations
