Numbers 21:4-9; Psalm 102:2-21; John 8:21-30

not of this world
He sees
but from another vision
another Light
from Above
cutting through
our divisions
separateness
and sin
to the place
of our belonging
Love
and Unity
calling us out
to let go
and follow Him
through the door
of the cross
to the Truth
of Being
to the place of
I AM

What do you hear?
What do you see?
Where do you belong?

Daniel 13:1-9; 15-30,33-62; Psalm 23:1-6; John 8:1-11

we stand
accused
by another
or our own minds
for things
done
or not done
ashamed
and alone
we offer
ourselves
to prayer
from where
our help comes
allowing
our God
who is our guide
to lead us
from this dark valley
giving us courage
and refreshing
our soul

Do you bring your needs to prayer?

Ezekiel 37: 12-14; Psalm 130: 1-8; Romans 8:8-11; John 11: 1-45

from the depths
our cries
are heard
graves opened
we are raised
from the dead
living
in God’s Spirit
of forgiveness
and mercy
no longer bound
we live
in loving-kindness
joy
and compassion
trusting in
God
and His word

When has Christ raised you from the dead?
Do you live in his spirit?

Jeremiah 11:18-20; Psalm 7:2-3,9-12; John 7:40-53

blinded
by preconceptions
and want
of power
we become
divided
and seek
vengeance

yet the searcher
of mind
and heart
and soul
reveals
a Truth
beyond
our knowing
even as it lives
within
and around us
challenging
and shaping us
putting an end
to malice
and returning us
to Love

What does the searcher of mind and heart and soul reveal to you?

Wisdom 2:1-11; Psalm 34:17-23; John 7:1-2, 10-30

in our
broken-heartedness
we turn
to God’s promise
of Presence
and comfort
knowing
our Source
of Peace
is deeper
than the world
can give
embracing
the Silence
that leads us
away from the chaos
of the world
to the place
where our tears
are dried
and Life begins
anew

Can you wait in the patience of silence?

Exodus 32:7-14; Psalm 106: 19-23; John 5:31-47

without
a ready heart
we are blind
to the Truth
when it comes
ears closed
to the voice
who will guide us
we are lost
creating images
of no lasting
value
that we worship

then
a voice
crying in the wilderness
a burning
and shining lamp
preparing the way
for the one
who will lead us home
to God’s love
in our heart

Do you hear the voice in the wilderness?

Isaiah 7: 10-14, 8:10; Psalm 40: 7-11; Hebrews 10: 4-10; Luke: 1: 26-38

Holy Spirit
your will
for love
and justice
finding
its form
within
a willing womb
allowing
the birth of
God with us
to grow
within
our hearts
and minds
and being
the light
of your love
the only
sign
we need

What form does the Holy Spirit take in your life?

Ez 47:1-9,12; Psalm 46:2-9; John 5:1-16

waiting
for healing
He will come
and ask
“Do you want to be well?”
What will you say?

waiting
for healing
He will come
and say
“Take up your mat and walk.”
What will you do?

Isaiah 65: 17-21; Psalm 30: 2-13; John 4: 43-54

in the dawn
you are there
our helper
who changed
our mourning
into dancing
we follow
as a new heaven
and new earth
are created
the past
left behind
with all
of our tears
living
in this place
of hope
and love
we rejoice
and give thanks
for the miracle
of life

Can you leave the past behind?
Do you see a new heaven and a new earth?

Samuel 16: 1-13; Psalm 23, 1-6; Eph 5: 8-14; John 9: 1-41

not as humans see
but God
beyond
appearance
into the heart
and soul of us
with the Lord
as our shepherd
we shall
not want
as our eyes
are opened
to see
beyond
the law
beyond
the Sabbath
beyond
the ritual
to the Truth
of the light
awakening us
from sleep
as we pass
from death
to life

Are you awake?
Do you see with His light?
Do you see beyond the law, the ritual and the Sabbath?
