Tb 12:1, 5-15; 26; Tobit 13:2, 6-8; Mark 12:38-44

reaching out
from a broken heart
we hear
to give thanks
and praise
for all our blessings
seeing all as a gift
and to sing with a given joy
praying
fasting
and giving alms
not from our surplus
but all we have
seeking only goodness
in God’s love and mercy

What words bring you consolation and healing?
Do you see all as a gift from God?
How do you praise God?

Tobit 11:5-17; Psalm 146:1-0; Mark 12:35-37

our sight
returned
we are freed
after years
of blindness
suffering
and pain
by one who comes
into our life
who knows
our need
for healing
and touches us
bringing Light

full of gratitude
we praise
the One
who is the source
of our blessing
and the one
who brings it

How have you been healed?
Who brought this blessing to you?

Tobit 6:10-11;8:4-9; Psalm 128:1-5; Mark 12:28-34

drawing near
to God
we know
we are to love
with all
our heart
our soul
and mind
and strength
loving God
ourselves
and our neighbor
praying
in thankfulness
and praying
for the courage
to live
His love
each day

Where do you find the courage to love each day?

Tobit 3:1-11,16-17; Psalm 25:2-9; Mark 12:18-27

our hearts
cry out
in our distress
to God
whom we trust
to guide us
to Truth
justice
compassion
and kindness

no longer misled
we see
beyond our mask
and pretense
to the face
of the living God
beholding a power
that challenges
all that we thought
we knew
and are healed
by mercy and love

Are you challenged by God’s mercy and love?
How do you know what you know?

Tb 2:9-14; Psalm 112: 1-9; Mark 12:18-17

pressed
by the needs
of the world
we become
short-sighted
and short-tempered
until
touched by the Spirit
we relinquish ourselves
into a greater
knowing
a greater
wisdom
and embrace
God’s love
and peace
as our guide

Do you feel the pressure of the world’s needs?
How do you respond?

Exodus 34: 4-6,8-9; Daniel 3; 2 Cor 13: 11-13; John 3: 16-18

our merciful God
gracious
slow to anger
abounding
in steadfast
love and faithfulness
sending love
for our salvation
we open
our hearts
our minds
our bodies
our breath
to God’s
holy breath
Holy Spirit
condemned
no longer
we see
the Truth of love
we are free
to live
in peace
with all

How do you experience the grace of God
How is the Holy Spirit alive in you?
How do you experience Jesus in your life?

Mark 11:27-33

by what
authority
do these words
of Love
come
through
the silence
of prayer
to our hearts
and live
in flesh
embodied
exchanged
manifesting
a will
and intent
of God
supreme
Being
of Love
bringing forth
a sound
of joy
in song
and praise

How do we know what we know?
By what power and authority do you live?

Mark 11:11-26

not surprised
by a trial
by fire
we are healed
forgiving all
that we  may be forgiven
driving out
any currency
but Love
we offer
our gifts
freely
to one another
believing
that all
what we ask for
in prayer
will be received
through God’s love

What do you ask for in prayer?
Do you believe you will receive?

his followers

How do you answer?

Zeph 3:14-18;or Romans 12:9-16; Isaiah 12:2-6; Luke 1:30=56

our soul
proclaims
the goodness
of our God
from where
our strength
and courage come
joy
leaps
in our heart
for the new life
God brings
rejoicing
in hope
enduring
in affection
we turn
from what is evil
and hold on
to God’s goodness

Where do you find God’s goodness?
