Exodus 3:13-20; Psalm 105:1, 5,8-9,24-27; Matthew 11:28-30

with a promise
of rest
from our burdens
we are yoked
with one
who knows
where peace resides
deeper
than the world
can offer
a love
beyond
conditions
and judgement
a love
deep within
that says
“I Am”

Where does your love reside?
How do live out this love?

Exodus 3:1-12; Psalm 103:1-7; Matthew 11:25-27

with
child-like
wonder
and awe
we see you
as your light
reveals
God’s splendor
to us
hidden
in every
being
and leaf
and grain
of sand
shimmering
with a love
we cannot
refuse
to accept
or give

Do you see with child-like wonder?
Do you experience God’s kindness and mercy?

Exodus 2:1-15; Psalm 69: 3,14,30-34; Matthew 11:20-24

resisting
warning
prophecy
and woe
we persist
in our ways
devoid
of moral compass
lost
and running
until God
in infinite mercy
and grace
reveals
an irresistible love
that changes
everything

Have you been touched by God’s irresistible love?
How has that changed you?

Matthew 10:34-11:1

God’s love
above all
our guide
no ritual
or ceremony
can take the place
of His justice
His love of all
in care
and compassion
giving
and forgiving
of one another
in grateful
praise

How do you experience God’s love in your life?

Isaiah 55:10-11; Psalm 65:10-14; Romans 8:18-23; Matthew 13:1-23

seed sown
seeking rich soil
where they
will not be snatched
scorched
or choked
by the harshness
of the world

so it is
as God’s word
seeks the rich soil
of our hearts
for deep rootedness
where all the fruits
of God’s goodness
can grow

Is your heart prepared for God’s word?

Matthew 10:24-33

fearing
what would destroy
our soul
we peer
into the darkness
and find
the voice
of Light
whispering
of a healing
Presence
that touches
our lips
and we proclaim
the Truth
of a Love
without condition
existing
for its own
Goodness
indestructible
in God

What Light do you find in the darkness?
What Truth?

Genesis 46:1-7, 28-30; Psalm 37:3-40; Mt 10:16-23

leaving all
on nothing but faith
we are guided
by the inner light
of Christ
returning
to our source
all becomes
illuminated
by God’s infinite love
providing
all we need
for the day-to-day
in sickness
and health
joy
and sorrow
famine
or feast
we live
in the joy
of knowing

Where do you live?
What guides your life?

Genesis 44:18-21; Psalm 105:16-27; Matthew 10:7-15

we travel
carrying nothing
but Spirit
giving all
that we have been received
at no cost
until Truth
is revealed
and all is forgiven
we are set free
cured
and cleansed
the famine ends
in the abundance
of knowing
who we are

Who are you?

Genesis 41:55-57; 42:5-7, 17-24; Psalm 33: 2-3, 10-11, 18-19; Matthew 10: 1-7

God
sees
the anguish
of our heart

we feel
his mercy
on us
as we place
our trust
in him

even as
famine
grips
the land

food is sent
through
his Son
in Body
and Spirit

we are healed

Does God see the anguish in your heart?
How are you healed?

Genesis 32:23-33;Psalm 17:2-15; Matthew 9:32-38

wrestling
through the night
with the power of God
challenging us
to stay faithful
to our calling
to heal
and give life
never despairing-
with the help
of God’s grace
we embrace
the truth
and care for all
with compassion

Do you find yourself wrestling with God?
How do you stay faithful?
