worshiping
gold and silver
selling love
eyes that see not
ears that hear not
noses that smell not
we become
the death
we create
until we are touched
by the incarnate word
of God
alive
breathing
seeing
hearing
and walking
upon the earth
we take God’s hand
and live

of our storms
He awakens in us
to quell our fears
with a calmness
that sweeps over
our life
searching our heart
and soul
nothing is left untouched
brought to light
we lose our self reference
and see all in Him
God and Spirit
our guide

in the spaciousness
of grace and mercy
where all is forgiven
and Heaven
rushes in
