to the Holy Spirit
we are lost
to our sacred purpose
killing what would bring life

yet a stilled heart
opens
to the voice
of angels
prophets
and friend
piercing the shield
of our anxiety
our ignorance forgiven
we are given
refuge
shelter
and new life
in Him

that leads
