Ephesians 3:2-12; Isaiah 12:2-6; Luke 12:39-48

awake
we see
God’s coming
Spirit’s
ever present
in Christ’s
healing power
strengthening us
encouraging us
moment
to moment
with joy
we draw water
from the springs
of salvation
our hearts
become full of song
gratitude
and praise

Are you awake to God’s presence?

Ephesians 2:12-22; Psalm 85:9-14; Luke 12:35-38

no longer
strangers
we are being
built together
into a dwelling place
of God
in the Spirit
where kindness
and Truth
shall meet
and peace
shall reign
among the people
serving only

God’s justice
God’s love of all

How do you experience God’s love of all?
How do you experience God’s justice?

Eph 2:1-1-; Psalm 100:1-5; Luke 12:13-21

turning
our lives
from greed
possession
and impulse
we become
rich
in what matters
to God
from a grace
given freely
an immeasurable
kindness
and mercy
that flows
through our work
day by day
as we love
and provide
what each moment
needs
not giving in
to what divides us
but what unites us
in love

What matters to God?
Do you accept the grace given freely?

Isaiah 45:1-6; Psalm 96: 1-10; Thess 1:1-5; Mt. 22:15-21

in the rising
and setting sun
we live
in the light
of God
laboring in
love
living in
love’s power
Holy Spirit
in our breath
upon our lips
we speak
God’s love
with conviction
rendering
all to God
as all
is God’s
not acting
for human favor
but for
the love of God
the love
of all

Do you give to God what is God’s?
What is God’s?

Ephesians 1:15-23; Psalm 8:2-7; Luke 12:8-12

void
of the Holy Spirit
provider
of forgiveness
and God’s Love
we are left
helpless
in our anger
resentments
and ignorance
disregarding
Truth
even as we behold
the moon
and stars
the eyes
of our heart
are blinded
to wisdom
and love

What revelation will bring the dawn of God’s love to our mind and heart?

Eph 1:11-14; Psalm 33:1-13; Luke 12:1-7

harboring
difficult
thoughts
we create
the leaven
of hypocrisy
letting go
of our fear
we open
to God’s presence
and receive
the purifying
light
saving us
from their destructive
power

How do we let go of our fear?

Eph 1:1-10; Psalm 98:1-6; Luke 11:47-54

the song
we sing
is not our own
written
by the hand
of another
for our hearts
when touched
by God’s love
coming
alive
with the joy
of new life
as we see
a glory given
a wisdom
received
as insight
into
the mystery
of His will
our saving
grace

What song do you sing?

Gal:5:18-25; Psalm 1:1-6; Luke 11:42-46

there is no law
when guided by Spirit
whose fruits are
love
joy
peace
patience
kindness
generosity
faithfulness
and self-control
guided away
from hateful
destructive
passions
we are like
a tree
planted
near running water
yielding
our fruit
in due season
turning toward
His Light

Do you live in the freedom of the Holy Spirit?

Gal 5:1-6; Psalm 119:41-48; Luke 11:37-41

meditating
on God’s law
and commands
the light
of mercy
shines through
we give alms
from a heart
set free
by a faith
working
through love
and experience
God’s living
word
acting
upon the world

How are you set free by God’s word?

Gal 4:22-27, 31-5:1; Psalm 113:1-7; Luke 11:29-32

insecure
in our faith
we demand
a sign
turning
ourselves
into slaves
rejecting
the wisdom
of repentance
and the sign of Jonah
condemning
ourselves
to judgement
until we hear
His voice
of freedom
singing

in our soul

What sign do you demand?
What voice do you hear?
