leaving all
on nothing but faith
we are guided
by the inner light
of Christ
returning
to our source
all becomes
illuminated
by God’s infinite love
providing
all we need
for the day-to-day
in sickness
and health
joy
and sorrow
famine
or feast
we live
in the joy
of knowing

Where do you live?
What guides your life?

Reflect on todays scriptures in your life today

  • Are you facing a personal “Egypt”? A move, a decision, a conversation, or even just a new stage of life that feels uncertain?
  • Have you felt the cost of speaking or living in truth? Like a sheep among wolves?
  • Are you unsure what to say, or how to act, in difficult circumstances?

Today’s readings invite us to trust three things:

  1. God speaks in the night—just as Jacob heard in the darkness.
➤ Create space for quiet. God still calls your name.
  2. The Spirit gives us the words when we need them.
➤ You don’t have to rehearse everything ahead of time. Stay close to the Spirit.
  3. You are never alone.
➤ Whether you are going “down to Egypt” or standing before hostility, the Lord goes with you.
